33Nun spannte ein Mann von ungefähr den Bogen und traf den König zwischen Ringelgurt und Panzer. Er sprach zum Wagenlenker: "Kehr um und fahre mich aus dem Getümmel! Denn ich bin verwundet."

33And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

33A certain man drew his bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to the driver of the chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am severely wounded.”
