13Als er ankam, saß Eli auf einem Stuhle neben dem Thor und spähte nach der Straße aus, denn sein Herz bangte um die Lade Gottes. Als nun der Mann kam, um der Stadt die Kunde zu bringen, da schrie die ganze Stadt auf.

13Y cuando llegó, he aquí Eli que estaba sentado en una silla atalayando junto al camino; porque su corazón estaba temblando por causa del arca de Dios. Llegado pues aquel hombre á la ciudad, y dadas las nuevas, toda la ciudad gritó.

13And when he came, lo, Eli sat upon a seat by the wayside watching: for his heart trembled for the ark of God. And when the man came into the city, and told it, all the city cried out.
