8Davi e seus homens atacaram vários lugares; saquearam os gezuritas, e os amalequitas, pois estas nações eram os habitantes da terra, conforme se vai para Sur, tão longe quanto a terra do Egito. Eles habitavam nessa terra desde o tempo dos anciãos.

8And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
