1 Samuel 1

Et il arriva que, quand les jours furent révolus, Anne, ayant conçu, enfanta un fils ; et elle appela son nom Samuel : car je l’ai demandé à l’Éternel.

Y fué que corrido el tiempo, después de haber concebido Anna, parió un hijo, y púsole por nombre Samuel, diciendo: Por cuanto lo demandé á Jehová.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

When the time had come, Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked him of the LORD.”
