25Et Saül reprit : Voilà ce que vous direz à David : Le roi n'a que faire de présents, si ce n'est de cent prépuces de Philistins, pour se venger des ennemis du roi. Saül comptait ainsi le jeter entre les mains des étrangers.

25Y Saúl dijo: Decid así á David: No está el contentamiento del rey en el dote, sino en cien prepucios de Filisteos, para que sea tomada venganza de los enemigos del rey. Mas Saúl pensaba echar á David en manos de los Filisteos.

25And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

25Saul said, “Tell David, ‘The king desires no dowry except one hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies.’” Now Saul thought he would make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.
