22Samuel respondeu: “Acaso o Senhor tem tanto prazer em suas ofertas queimadas e sacrifícios, como tem em sua obediência? Obedecer é muito melhor do que sacrificar. Deus está muito mais interessado em que você atenda ao que ele ordena do que nas ofertas da gordura de carneiros.

22Y Samuel dijo: ¿Tiene Jehová tanto contentamiento con los holocaustos y víctimas, como en obedecer á las palabras de Jehová? Ciertamente el obedecer es mejor que los sacrificios; y el prestar atención que el sebo de los carneros:

22And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
