16Depuis le jour où j'ai tiré de l'Égypte mon peuple Israël, je n'ai choisi en Israël ni ville, ni tribu, pour qu'on bâtit un temple où résidât mon Nom ; puis, j'ai choisi Jérusalem pour que mon nom y réside, et j'ai choisi David pour qu'il soit sur mon peuple Israël.
