26Da sprach das weib, dessen Sohn der lebendige war, zum Könige - denn die Liebe zu ihrem Sohne regte sich heftig in ihr - sie sprach: Bitte, mein Herr, gebt ihr das lebendige Kind und tötet es ja nicht! Jene aber rief: Es soll weder mir noch dir gehören: schneidet durch!

26Entonces la mujer cuyo era el hijo vivo, habló al rey (porque sus entrañas se le conmovieron por su hijo), y dijo: ¡Ah, señor mío! dad á ésta el niño vivo, y no lo matéis. Mas la otra dijo: Ni á mí ni á ti; partidlo.

26Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.

26Then the woman whose the living child was spoke to the king, for her heart yearned over her son, and she said, “Oh, my lord, give her the living child, and in no way kill him!” But the other said, “He shall be neither mine nor yours. Divide him.”
