28E la notizia ne giunse a Joab, il quale avea seguito il partito di Adonija, benché non avesse seguito quello di Absalom. Egli si rifugiò nel tabernacolo dell’Eterno, e impugnò i corni dell’altare.

28Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.

28This news came to Joab; for Joab had followed Adonijah, although he didn’t follow Absalom. Joab fled to the LORD’s Tent, and held onto the horns of the altar.
