14De novo ele respondeu: “Tenho trabalhado duramente para o Senhor Deus dos Exércitos; porém o povo de Israel não cumpriu o seu trato com o Senhor e derrubou os seus altares e matou todos os seus profetas. Sou o único que sobrou; e agora estão tentando matar-me também”.

14Y él respondió: Sentido he un vivo celo por Jehová Dios de los ejércitos; porque los hijos de Israel han dejado tu alianza, han derribado tus altares, y han muerto á cuchillo tus profetas: y yo solo he quedado, y me buscan para quitarme la vida.

14And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
