4Da aber der Konig das Wort von dem Mann Gottes horete, der wider den Altar zu Bethel rief, reckte er seine Hand aus bei dem Altar und sprach: Greifet ihn! Und seine Hand verdorrete, die er wider ihn ausgereckt hatte, und konnte sie nicht wieder zu sich ziehen.

4Y como el rey Jeroboam oyó la palabra del varón de Dios, que había clamado contra el altar de Beth-el, extendiendo su mano desde el altar, dijo: ¡Prendedle! Mas la mano que había extendido contra él, se le secó, que no la pudo tornar á sí.

4And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Beth-el, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

4When the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam put out his hand from the altar, saying, “Seize him!” His hand, which he put out against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back again to himself.
