20Quando o povo de Israel soube que Jeroboão tinha voltado do Egito, pediram a ele que comparecesse a uma reunião onde todo o povo estaria reunido; e ali o proclamaram rei de Israel. Somente a tribo de Judá continuou sob o reinado da família de Davi.

20And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.
