1 Corintios 5

1Es ya una voz pública de que entre vosotros se cometen deshonestidades, y tales, cuales no se oyen ni aun entre gentiles, hasta llegar alguno a abusar de la mujer de su propio padre.
2Y con todo vosotros estáis hinchados de orgullo, y no os habéis al contrario entregado al llanto, para que fuese quitado de entre vosotros el que ha cometido tal maldad.
3Por lo que a mí toca, aunque ausente de ahí con el cuerpo, mas presente en espíritu, ya he pronunciado, como presente, esta sentencia contra aquel que así pecó.
4En nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, uniéndose con vosotros mi espíritu, con el poder que he recibido de nuestro Señor Jesús ,
5sea ese que tal hizo entregado a Satanás, para castigo de su cuerpo, a cambio de que su alma sea salva en el día de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
6No tenéis, pues, motivo para gloriaros. ¿No sabéis acaso que un poco de levadura fermenta toda la masa?
7Echad fuera la levadura añeja, para que seáis una masa enteramente nueva, como que sois panes puros y sin levadura. Porque Jesucristo, que es nuestro Cordero pascual, ha sido inmolado por nosotros.
8Por tanto, celebremos la fiesta, o el convite pascual, no con levadura añeja, ni con levadura de malicia y de corrupción, sino con los panes ázimos de la sinceridad y de la verdad.
9Os tengo escrito en una carta: No tratéis con los deshonestos.
10Claro está que no entiendo decir con los deshonestos de este mundo, o con los avarientos o con los que viven de rapiña, o con los idólatras; de otra suerte era necesario que os salieseis de este mundo.
11Cuando os escribí que no trataseis con tales sujetos, quise decir que si aquel que es del número de vuestros hermanos, es deshonesto o avariento, o idólatra, o maldiciente, o borracho, o vive de rapiña, con este tal, ni tomar bocado.
12Pues ¿cómo podría yo meterme en juzgar a los que están fuera? ¿No son los que están dentro de ella a quienes tenéis derecho de juzgar?
13A los de afuera Dios los juzgará. Vosotros, apartad a ese mal hombre de vuestra compañía.

1DE cierto se oye que hay entre vosotros fornicación, y tal fornicación cual ni aun se nombra entre los Gentiles; tanto que alguno tenga la mujer de su padre.
2Y vosotros estáis hinchados, y no más bien tuvisteis duelo, para que fuese quitado de en medio de vosotros el que hizo tal obra.
3Y ciertamente, como ausente con el cuerpo, mas presente en espíritu, ya como presente he juzgado al que esto así ha cometido:
4En el nombre del Señor nuestro Jesucristo, juntados vosotros y mi espíritu, con la facultad de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
5El tal sea entregado á Satanás para muerte de la carne, porque el espíritu sea salvo en el día del Señor Jesús.
6No es buena vuestra jactancia. ¿No sabéis que un poco de levadura leuda toda la masa?
7Limpiad pues la vieja levadura, para que seáis nueva masa, como sois sin levadura: porque nuestra pascua, que es Cristo, fué sacrificada por nosotros.
8Así que hagamos fiesta, no en la vieja levadura, ni en la levadura de malicia y de maldad, sino en ázimos de sinceridad y de verdad.
9Os he escrito por carta, que no os envolváis con los fornicarios:
10No absolutamente con los fornicarios de este mundo, ó con los avaros, ó con los ladrones, ó con los idólatras; pues en tal caso os sería menester salir del mundo.
11Mas ahora os he escrito, que no os envolváis, es á saber, que si alguno llamándose hermano fuere fornicario, ó avaro, ó idólatra, ó maldiciente, ó borracho, ó ladrón, con el tal ni aun comáis.
12Porque ¿qué me va á mí en juzgar á los que están fuera? ¿No juzgáis vosotros á los que están dentro?
13Porque á los que están fuera, Dios juzgará: quitad pues á ese malo de entre vosotros.

1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.
2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
World English Bible
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.
2You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.
3For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together with my spirit with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5you are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?
7Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.
8Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
10yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.
11But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.
12For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?
13But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”
