1Denn mir ist eine große Tür aufgetan, die viele Frucht wirket, und sind viel Widerwärtige da.
2So Timotheus kommt, so sehet zu, daß er ohne Furcht bei euch sei; denn er treibet auch das Werk des HERRN wie ich.
3Daß ihn nun nicht jemand verachte! Geleitet ihn aber im Frieden, daß er zu mir komme; denn ich warte sein mit den Brüdern.
4Von Apollos, dem Bruder, aber wisset, daß ich ihn sehr viel ermahnet habe, daß er zu euch käme mit den Brüdern, und es war allerdinge sein Wille nicht, daß er jetzt käme; er wird aber kommen, wenn es ihm gelegen sein wird.
5Wachet, stehet im Glauben, seid männlich und seid stark!
6Alle eure Dinge lasset in der Liebe geschehen.
7Ich ermahne euch aber, liebe Brüder, ihr kennet das Haus Stephanas, daß sie sind die Erstlinge in Achaja und haben sich selbst verordnet zum Dienst den Heiligen,
8auf daß auch ihr solchen untertan seiet und allen, die mitwirken und arbeiten.
9Ich freue mich über die Zukunft Stephanas und Fortunatus und Achaicus; denn wo ich euer Mangel hatte, das haben sie erstattet.
10Sie haben erquicket meinen und euren Geist. Erkennet, die solche sind!
11Es grüßen euch die Gemeinden in Asien. Es grüßen euch sehr in dem HERRN Aquila und Priscilla samt der Gemeinde in ihrem Hause.
12Es grüßen euch alle Brüder. Grüßet euch untereinander mit dem heiligen Kuß.
13Ich, Paulus, grüße euch mit meiner Hand.
14So jemand den HERRN Jesum Christum nicht liebhat, der sei Anathema, Maharam Motha.
15Die Gnade des HERRN Jesu Christi sei mit euch!
16Meine Liebe sei mit euch allen in Christo Jesu! Amen. «Die erste Epistel an die Korinther, gesandt von Philippi, durch Stephanas und Fortunatus und Achaicus und Timotheus.»
17Paulus, ein Apostel Jesu Christi durch den Willen Gottes, und Bruder Timotheus: Der Gemeinde Gottes zu Korinth samt allen Heiligen in ganz Achaja.
18Gnade sei mit euch und Friede von Gott, unserm Vater, und dem HERRN Jesu Christo!
19Gelobet sei Gott und der Vater unsers HERRN Jesu Christi, der Vater der Barmherzigkeit und Gott alles Trostes,
20der uns tröstet in aller unserer Trübsal, daß wir auch trösten können, die da sind in allerlei Trübsal, mit dem Trost, damit wir getröstet werden von Gott.
21Denn gleichwie wir des Leidens Christi viel haben, also werden wir auch reichlich getröstet durch Christum.
22Wir haben aber Trübsal oder Trost, so geschieht es euch zugut. Ist's Trübsal, so geschieht es euch zu Trost und Heil; welches Heil beweiset sich, so ihr leidet mit Geduld dermaßen, wie wir leiden. Ist's Trost, so geschieht es euch auch zu Trost und Heil.
23Und stehet unsere Hoffnung fest für euch, dieweil wir wissen, daß, wie ihr des Leidens teilhaftig seid, so werdet ihr auch des Trostes teilhaftig sein.
24Denn wir wollen euch nicht verhalten, liebe Brüder, unsere Trübsal, die uns in Asien widerfahren ist da wir über die Maßen beschweret waren und über Macht, also daß wir auch am Leben verzagten

1CUANTO á la colecta para los santos, haced vosotros también de la manera que ordené en las iglesias de Galacia.
2Cada primer día de la semana cada uno de vosotros aparte en su casa, guardando lo que por la bondad de Dios pudiere; para que cuando yo llegare, no se hagan entonces colectas.
3Y cuando habré llegado, los que aprobareis por cartas, á éstos enviaré que lleven vuestro beneficio á Jerusalem.
4Y si fuere digno el negocio de que yo también vaya, irán conmigo.
5Y á vosotros iré, cuando hubiere pasado por Macedonia, porque por Macedonia tengo de pasar:
6Y podrá ser que me quede con vosotros, ó invernaré también, para que vosotros me llevéis á donde hubiere de ir.
7Porque no os quiero ahora ver de paso; porque espero estar con vosotros algún tiempo, si el Señor lo permitiere.
8Empero estaré en Efeso hasta Pentecostés;
9Porque se me ha abierto puerta grande y eficaz, y muchos son los adversarios.
10Y si llegare Timoteo, mirad que esté con vosotros seguramente; porque la obra del Señor hace también como yo.
11Por tanto, nadie le tenga en poco; antes, llevadlo en paz, para que venga á mí: porque lo espero con los hermanos.
12Acerca del hermano Apolos, mucho le he rogado que fuese á vosotros con los hermanos; mas en ninguna manera tuvo voluntad de ir por ahora; pero irá cuando tuviere oportunidad.
13Velad, estad firmes en la fe; portaos varonilmente, y esforzaos.
14Todas vuestras cosas sean hechas con caridad.
15Y os ruego, hermanos, (ya sabéis que la casa de Estéfanas es las primicias de Acaya, y que se han dedicado al ministerio de los santos,)
16Que vosotros os sujetéis á los tales, y á todos los que ayudan y trabajan.
17Huélgome de la venida de Estéfanas y de Fortunato y de Achâico: porque éstos suplieron lo que á vosotros faltaba.
18Porque recrearon mi espíritu y el vuestro: reconoced pues á los tales.
19Las iglesias de Asia os saludan. Os saludan mucho en el Señor Aquila y Priscila, con la iglesia que está en su casa.
20Os saludan todos los hermanos. Saludaos los unos á los otros con ósculo santo.
21La salutación de mí, Pablo, de mi mano.
22El que no amare al Señor Jesucristo, sea anatema. Maranatha.
23La gracia del Señor Jesucristo sea con vosotros.

1Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
3And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
4And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
5Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
6And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
7For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14Let all your things be done with charity.
15I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
16That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
17I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.
19The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
20All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
21The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
22If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

1Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I commanded the assemblies of Galatia, you do likewise.
2On the first day of every week, let each one of you save as he may prosper, that no collections are made when I come.
3When I arrive, I will send whoever you approve with letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.
4If it is appropriate for me to go also, they will go with me.
5I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am passing through Macedonia.
6But with you it may be that I will stay with you, or even winter with you, that you may send me on my journey wherever I go.
7For I do not wish to see you now in passing, but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits.
8But I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost,
9for a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
10Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11Therefore let no one despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers.
12Now concerning Apollos the brother, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his desire to come now; but he will come when he has an opportunity.
13Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
14Let all that you do be done in love.
15Now I beg you, brothers—you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints—
16that you also be in subjection to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labors.
17I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus; for that which was lacking on your part, they supplied.
18For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge those who are like that.
19The assemblies of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, together with the assembly that is in their house.
20All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
21This greeting is by me, Paul, with my own hand.
22If any man doesn’t love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be cursed. Come, Lord!
23The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.
