3Et il emmena tout le peuple qui l'habitait, et il l'extermina en plaçant les uns sous des scies, les autres sous des haches de fer, d'autres sous la cognée du bûcheron. Ce fut ainsi que David traita tous les fils d'Ammon, et David et tout le peuple retournèrent à Jérusalem.

3Sacó también al pueblo que estaba en ella, y cortólos con sierras, y con trillos de hierro, y segures. Lo mismo hizo David á todas las ciudades de los hijos de Ammón. Y volvióse David con todo el pueblo á Jerusalem.

3And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
