Io ho udito gli scherni di Moab, e le bestemmie vomitate contro il mio popolo da' figliuoli di Ammon, i quali si sono ingranditi coll'invasione de' suoi confini.

Yo he oído las afrentas de Moab, y los denuestos de los hijos de Ammón con que deshonraron á mi pueblo, y se engrandecieron sobre su término.

I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
