Cuando el rey Darío había gobernado por cuatro años, en el cuarto día de Quisleu (el cual era el noveno mes), la Palabra del SEÑOR vino a Zacarías.
Y ACONTECIÓ en el año cuarto del rey Darío, que fué palabra de Jehová á Zacarías á los cuatro del mes noveno, que es Chisleu;
And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;
In the fourth year of King Darius, the LORD’s word came to Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, the month of Chislev.
La gente de Betel había enviado a Sarezer y a Regem Melec y a sus hombres a rogar ante el Rostro del SEÑOR.
Cuando fué enviado á la casa de Dios, Saraser, con Regem-melech y sus hombres, á implorar el favor de Jehová,
When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regem-melech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,
The people of Bethel sent Sharezer and Regem Melech and their men to entreat the LORD’s favor,
Ellos le hablaron a los sacerdotes quienes estaban en la casa del SEÑOR de los Ejércitos y a los profetas; ellos dijeron: "¿Debería yo lamertarme en el quinto mes por medio de un ayuno, como lo he hecho estos muchos años?"
Y á hablar á los sacerdotes que estaban en la casa de Jehová de los ejércitos, y á los profetas, diciendo: ¿Lloraremos en el mes quinto? ¿haremos abstinencia como hemos hecho ya algunos años?
And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?
and to speak to the priests of the house of the LORD of Armies and to the prophets, saying, “Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?”
Entonces, la Palabra del SEÑOR de los Ejércitos vino a mí, diciendo:
Fué pues á mí palabra de Jehová de los ejércitos, diciendo:
Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,
Then the word of the LORD of Armies came to me, saying,
"Háblale a toda la gente de la tierra y a los sacerdotes y dí: "Cuando ustedes ayunaron y se lamentaron en el quinto y el sexto por estos setenta años, ¿estaban realmente ayunando por Mí?
Habla á todo el pueblo del país, y á los sacerdotes, diciendo: Cuando ayunasteis y llorasteis en el quinto y en el séptimo mes estos setenta años, ¿habéis ayunado para mí?
Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?
“Speak to all the people of the land and to the priests, saying, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month for these seventy years, did you at all fast to me, really to me?
Cuando ustedes comieron y bebieron, ¿no comieron y bebieron para ustedes mismos?
Y cuando coméis y bebéis, ¿no coméis y bebéis para vosotros?
And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?
When you eat and when you drink, don’t you eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?
¿No fueron estas las mismas palabras que EL SEÑOR proclamó de la boca de los profetas anteriores, cuando ustedes aún habitaban en Jerusalén y las ciudades alrededor en prosperidad y estaban establecidos en Neguev, y en las colinas al oeste?"'
¿No son estas las palabras que publicó Jehová por mano de los profetas primeros, cuando Jerusalem estaba habitada y quieta, y sus ciudades en sus alrededores, y el mediodía y la campiña se habitaban?
Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?
Aren’t these the words which the LORD proclaimed by the former prophets when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and its cities around her, and the South and the lowland were inhabited?’”
La Palabra del SEÑOR vino a Zacarías, diciendo:
Y fué palabra de Jehová á Zacarías, diciendo:
And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,
The LORD’s word came to Zechariah, saying,
"El SEÑOR de los Ejércitos dice así: "Juzguen con verdadera justicia, fidelidad del pacto, y misericordia. Dejen que cada hombre haga esto por su hermano.
Así habló Jehová de los ejércitos, diciendo: Juzgad juicio verdadero, y haced misericordia y piedad cada cual con su hermano:
Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
“Thus has the LORD of Armies spoken, saying, ‘Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother.
A cerca de la viuda y el húerfano, el extranjero, y la persona pobre, no los opriman, no dejen a ninguno de ustedes planificar ningún daño en contra de otro en su corazón".
No agraviéis á la viuda, ni al huérfano, ni al extranjero, ni al pobre; ni ninguno piense mal en su corazón contra su hermano.
And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
Don’t oppress the widow, the fatherless, the foreigner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.’
Pero ellos se negaron a prestar atención y asentaron sus hombros tercamente. Ellos cerraron sus oídos para no escuchar.
Empero no quisieron escuchar, antes dieron hombro rebelado, y agravaron sus oídos para no oir:
But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
But they refused to listen, and turned their backs, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear.
Ellos hicieron sus corazones tan duros como la roca, para no escuchar la ley o las palabras del SEÑOR de los Ejércitos. ÉL había enviado estos mensajes a la gente por su Espíritu en momentos anteriores, por la boca de sus profetas. Pero la gente se negó a escuchar, así que, EL SEÑOR de los Ejércitos estaba muy enojado con ellos.
Y pusieron su corazón como diamante, para no oir la ley ni las palabras que Jehová de los ejércitos enviaba por su espíritu, por mano de los profetas primeros: fué, por tanto, hecho grande castigo por Jehová de los ejércitos.
Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.
Yes, they made their hearts as hard as flint, lest they might hear the law and the words which the LORD of Armies had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from the LORD of Armies.
Ocurrió que cuando ÉL llamó, ellos no escucharon. En la misma manera, dijo EL SEÑOR de los Ejércitos: "ellos clamarán a Mí, pero YO no los escucharé.
Y aconteció que como él clamó, y no escucharon, así ellos clamaron, y yo no escuché, dice Jehová de los ejércitos;
Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:
It has come to pass that, as he called and they refused to listen, so they will call and I will not listen,” said the LORD of Armies;
Pues YO los esparciré a ellos con un torbellino a todas las naciones que ellos no han visto, y la tierra estará desolada detrás de ellos. Porque nadie pasará a través de la tierra o regresará a ella, ya que la gente ha convertido su agradable tierra en un baldío".
Antes los esparcí con torbellino por todas las gentes que ellos no conocían, y la tierra fué desolada tras de ellos, sin quedar quien fuese ni viniese; pues tornaron en asolamiento el país deseable.
But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
