1Da weckte mich der Engel wieder, der mit mir redete, wie einen, den man aus dem Schlafe weckt.
2Er sprach zu mir: "Was schaust du?" "Ich sehe", sprach ich, "einen Leuchter, ganz von Gold, mit seinem Ölbehälter drauf, und seiner Lampen sind es sieben. Die sieben Lampen haben sieben Röhrchen. die zur Spitze laufen.
3Zwei Ölbäume sind neben ihm, der eine rechts, der andre links vom Ölbehälter."
4Da hob ich an und sprach zum Engel, der mit mir redete: "Mein Herr, was sollen diese?"
5Da hob der Engel an, der mit mir redete, und sprach zu mir: "Weißt du das nicht, was sie bedeuten?" - "Nein, Herr!" sprach ich.
6Da hob er an und sprach zu mir: "Dies ist das Wort des Herren an Zorobabel: 'Nicht durch Gewalt und nicht durch Tüchtigkeit! Nein! Nur durch meinen Geist allein!' So spricht der Herr der Heerscharen.
7Was bist du, großer Berg? Sink nieder vor Zorobabel zur Ebene! Wenn er den Schlußstein herholt, erschallt der Freudenruf: 'Heil ihm, Heil ihm!'"
8Und noch erging das Wort des Herrn an mich:
9"Den Grund zu diesem Hause legten die Hände des Zorobabel; sie werden's auch vollenden. - Dann siehst du ein: Der Herr der Heerscharen hat mich zu euch gesandt.
10Wer vormals auf den kleinen Anfang mit Verachtung sah, der ist voll Freude, wenn er in der Hand Zorobabels den Sonderstein erblickt. - Die sieben sind des Herren Augen, die auf die ganze Erde schauen."
11Da hob ich an und fragte ihn, was jene beiden Ölbäume bedeuten, rechts und links vom Leuchter.
12Zum zweiten Male hob ich an und sprach zu ihm: "Was sollen diese beiden jungen Ölbäume, die neben jenen goldnen Röhren sind, die goldnes Öl durchfließen lassen?"
13Er sprach zu mir: "Weißt du denn nicht, was sie bedeuten?" - "Nein, Herr!" sprach ich.
14Er sprach: "Sie deuten zwei Gesalbte an, die vor dem Herrn der ganzen Erde stehn."

1Y VOLVIÓ el ángel que hablaba conmigo, y despertóme como un hombre que es despertado de su sueño.
2Y díjome: ¿Qué ves? Y respondí: He mirado, y he aquí un candelero todo de oro, con su vaso sobre su cabeza, y sus siete lámparas encima del candelero; y siete canales para las lámparas que están encima de él;
3Y sobre él dos olivas, la una á la derecha del vaso, y la otra á su izquierda.
4Proseguí, y hablé á aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo, diciendo: ¿Qué es esto, señor mío?
5Y el ángel que hablaba conmigo respondió, y díjome: ¿No sabes qué es esto? Y dije: No, señor mío.
6Entonces respondió y hablóme, diciendo: Esta es palabra de Jehová á Zorobabel, en que se dice: No con ejército, ni con fuerza, sino con mi espíritu, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
7¿Quién eres tú, oh gran monte? Delante de Zorobabel serás reducido á llanura: él sacará la primera piedra con aclamaciones de Gracia, gracia á ella.
8Y fué palabra de Jehová á mí, diciendo:
9Las manos de Zorobabel echarán el fundamento á esta casa, y sus manos la acabarán; y conocerás que Jehová de los ejércitos me envió á vosotros.
10Porque los que menospreciaron el día de las pequeñeces se alegrarán, y verán la plomada en la mano de Zorobabel. Aquellas siete son los ojos de Jehová que recorren por toda la tierra.
11Hablé más, y díjele: ¿Qué significan estas dos olivas á la derecha del candelero, y á su izquierda?
12Hablé aún de nuevo, y díjele: ¿Qué significan las dos ramas de olivas que por medio de dos tubos de oro vierten de sí aceite como oro?
13Y respondióme, diciendo: ¿No sabes qué es esto? Y dije: Señor mío, no.
14Y él dijo: Estos dos hijos de aceite son los que están delante del Señor de toda la tierra.

1And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
2And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
3And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
5Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
6Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
7Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
8Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.
10For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
11Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
14Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
World English Bible
1The angel who talked with me came again and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep.
2He said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I have seen, and behold, a lamp stand all of gold, with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it; there are seven pipes to each of the lamps which are on the top of it;
3and two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl, and the other on the left side of it.”
4I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, “What are these, my lord?”
5Then the angel who talked with me answered me, “Don’t you know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.”
6Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, “This is the LORD’s word to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD of Armies.
7Who are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are a plain; and he will bring out the capstone with shouts of ‘Grace, grace, to it!’”
8Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
9“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.
10Indeed, who despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. These are the LORD’s eyes, which run back and forth through the whole earth.”
11Then I asked him, “What are these two olive trees on the right side of the lamp stand and on the left side of it?”
12I asked him the second time, “What are these two olive branches, which are beside the two golden spouts that pour the golden oil out of themselves?”
13He answered me, “Don’t you know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.”
14Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”
