1Sodann ließ er mich den Hohenpriester Josua schauen, wie er vor dem Engel Jahwes stand, und der Satan zu seiner Rechten stand, um ihn anzuklagen.
2Jahwe aber sprach zu dem Satan: Jahwe gebietet dir Schweigen, Satan! Jahwe, der Jerusalem erwählt, gebietet dir Schweigen! Ist dieser denn nicht ein dem Brand entrissenes Holzscheit?
3Josua aber war mit schmutzigen Kleidern angethan, als er vor dem Engel stand.
4Da hob dieser an und sprach zu den dabeistehenden Dienern also: Zieht ihm die schmutzigen Kleider aus! Sodann sprach er zu ihm: Siehe, ich habe dir deine Schuld verziehen und lasse dir jetzt Feierkleider anlegen.
5Weiter befahl er: legt ihm einen reinen Kopfbund um das Haupt! Da legten sie ihm einen reinen Kopfbund um das Haupt und zogen ihm die Gewänder an, während der Engel Jahwes dabeistand.
6Und der Engel Jahwes gab Josua die feierliche Zusicherung:
7So spricht Jahwe der Heerscharen: Wenn du auf meinen Wegen wandelst und dich an meine Ordnungen hältst, so sollst du auch mein Haus verwalten und über meine Vorhöfe Aufsicht üben, und ich gewähre dir freien Zugang zwischen diesen meinen Dienern.
8Höre doch, Hoherpriester Josua, du und deine Genossen, die vor dir ihre Sitze haben - denn sie sind Vorzeichen einer wunderbaren Zukunft -: Ich werde alsbald meinen Knecht “Sproß” kommen lassen!
9Dem Steine, den ich vor Josua gelegt habe - sieben Augen ruhen auf einem einzigen Steine -, werde ich demnächst seine Züge eingraben, ist der Spruch Jahwes der Heerscharen, und die Verschuldung desselben Landes an einem Tage hinwegtilgen.
10An jenem Tag, ist der Spruch Jahwes der Heerscharen, werdet ihr einander einladen können unter Weinstock und Feigenbaum!

1Y MOSTRÓME á Josué, el gran sacerdote, el cual estaba delante del ángel de Jehová; y Satán estaba á su mano derecha para serle adversario.
2Y dijo Jehová á Satán: Jehová te reprenda, oh Satán; Jehová, que ha escogido á Jerusalem, te reprenda. ¿No es éste tizón arrebatado del incendio?
3Y Josué estaba vestido de vestimentas viles, y estaba delante del ángel.
4Y habló el ángel, é intimó á los que estaban delante de sí, diciendo: Quitadle esas vestimentas viles. Y á él dijo: Mira que he hecho pasar tu pecado de ti, y te he hecho vestir de ropas de gala.
5Después dijo: Pongan mitra limpia sobre su cabeza. Y pusieron una mitra limpia sobre su cabeza, y vistiéronle de ropas. Y el ángel de Jehová estaba en pie.
6Y el ángel de Jehová protestó al mismo Josué, diciendo:
7Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Si anduvieres por mis caminos, y si guardares mi ordenanza, también tú gobernarás mi casa, también tú guardarás mis atrios, y entre estos que aquí están te daré plaza.
8Escucha pues ahora, Josué gran sacerdote, tú, y tus amigos que se sientan delante de ti; porque son varones simbólicos: He aquí, yo traigo á mi siervo, el Pimpollo.
9Porque he aquí aquella piedra que puse delante de Josué; sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos: he aquí, yo grabaré su escultura, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y quitaré el pecado de la tierra en un día.
10En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, cada uno de vosotros llamará á su compañero debajo de la vid, y debajo de la higuera.

1And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
2And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
3Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
4And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
5And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
6And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
7Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
8Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
9For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

1He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the LORD’s angel, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.
2The LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”
3Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.
4He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, “Take the filthy garments off him.” To him he said, “Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich clothing.”
5I said, “Let them set a clean turban on his head.” So they set a clean turban on his head, and clothed him; and the LORD’s angel was standing by.
6The LORD’s angel solemnly assured Joshua, saying,
7“The LORD of Armies says: ‘If you will walk in my ways, and if you will follow my instructions, then you also shall judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you a place of access among these who stand by.
8Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you, for they are men who are a sign; for, behold, I will bring out my servant, the Branch.
9For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua: on one stone are seven eyes; behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ says the LORD of Armies, ‘and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10In that day,’ says the LORD of Armies, ‘you will invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.’”
