E tutte le caldaie di Gerusalemme, e di Giuda saran consagrate al Signore degli eserciti, e tutti quelli, che offeriran sagrifizio, verranno, e le prenderanno per cuocervi le carni: e non sarà più in quel giorno alcun mercatante nella casa del Signore degli eserciti. Il Signore rimprovera ad Israele la sua ingratitudine, perchè non conosceva, come da Dio era stato amato egli nella persona di Giacobbe, quando Esaù col suo popolo fu rigettato. Si lamenta perciò, che Israele non lo onora, ne lo teme, e che i sacerdoti non rispettino il nome del Signore: egli rigetta i lor sagrifizj, e gradisce l'obblazione monda, che in ogni luogo a lui si offerisce.
Y será toda olla en Jerusalem y en Judá santidad á Jehová de los ejércitos: y todos los que sacrificaren, vendrán y tomarán de ellas, y cocerán en ellas: y no habrá más Cananeo alguno en la casa de Jehová de los ejércitos en aquel tiempo.
Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the LORD of Armies; and all those who sacrifice will come and take of them, and cook in them. In that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of Armies.
