EMPERO tú, habla lo que conviene á la sana doctrina:

que os homens mais velhos sejam temperantes, sensatos, sóbrios, sadios na fé, no amor e na perseverança,
Que los viejos sean templados, graves, prudentes, sanos en la fe, en la caridad, en la paciencia.
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

Exorte os servos a estarem sujeitos a seus próprios senhores e a serem agradáveis em todas as coisas, não os contradizendo,
