Cantares 2

Le figuier mûrit ses premiers fruits. Les vignes sont en fleur. Elles exhalent leur parfum. Lève-toi, mon amie, ma toute belle, et viens. »

La higuera ha echado sus higos, y las vides en cierne dieron olor: levántate, oh amiga mía, hermosa mía, y vente.

The fig tree ripens her green figs. The vines are in blossom. They give out their fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.”
