6Moças da cidade, não façam pouco caso de mim só porque a minha pele é morena; estou queimada do sol. Meus irmãos se zangaram e me mandaram tomar conta das plantações de uvas. Da minha própria videira, porém, não pude cuidar.

6Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
