Ahora el esposo de Noemí, Elimelec, tenía un pariente, Booz, quien era un hombre rico e influyente.

Y TENÍA Noemi un pariente de su marido, varón poderoso y de hecho, de la familia de Elimelech, el cual se llamaba Booz.

And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.

Naomi had a relative of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech, and his name was Boaz.

Rut, la moabita, dijo a Noemí: "Ahora déjame ir y recoger espigas de grano detrás de los cosechadores en los campos. Yo seguiré detrás de aquel ante cuyos ojos encuentre yo favor." Así que Noemí le dijo: "Ve, mi hija."

Y Ruth la Moabita dijo á Noemi: Ruégote que me dejes ir al campo, y cogeré espigas en pos de aquel á cuyos ojos hallare gracia. Y ella le respondió: Ve, hija mía.

And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Let me now go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I find favor.” She said to her, “Go, my daughter.”

Rut fue y recogió el grano que quedaba en los campos detrás de los segadores. Sucedió que ella vino a la porción de los campos que pertenecían a Booz, quien era familia de Elimelec.

Fué pues, y llegando, espigó en el campo en pos de los segadores: y aconteció por ventura, que la suerte del campo era de Booz, el cual era de la parentela de Elimelech.

And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.

She went, and came and gleaned in the field after the reapers; and she happened to come to the portion of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.

He aquí, Booz vino de Belén y le dijo a los segadores: "¡Que el SEÑOR esté con ustedes!" Ellos le contestaron: "¡Que el SEÑOR te bendiga!"

Y he aquí que Booz vino de Beth-lehem, y dijo á los segadores: Jehová sea con vosotros. Y ellos respondieron: Jehová te bendiga.

And, behold, Boaz came from Beth-lehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.

Behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, “May the LORD be with you.” They answered him, “May the LORD bless you.”

Entonces Booz le dijo a su siervo que estaba supervisando a los segadores: ¿A qué hombre le pertenece esta joven?"

Y Booz dijo á su criado el sobrestante de los segadores: ¿Cúya es esta moza?

Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

Then Boaz said to his servant who was set over the reapers, “Whose young lady is this?”

El siervo supervisor de los segadores contestó y dijo: "Es la joven moabita que regresó con Noemí de la tierra de Moab.

Y el criado, sobrestante de los segadores, respondió y dijo: Es la moza de Moab, que volvió con Noemi de los campos de Moab;

And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:

The servant who was set over the reapers answered, “It is the Moabite lady who came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab.

Ella me dijo: 'Por favor déjeme recoger granos detrás de los segadores.' Así que ella vino aquí y ha trabajado desde la mañana hasta ahora, solo descansó un poco en la casa."

Y ha dicho: Ruégote que me dejes coger y juntar tras los segadores entre las gavillas: entró pues, y está desde por la mañana hasta ahora, menos un poco que se detuvo en casa.

And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.’ So she came, and has continued even from the morning until now, except that she rested a little in the house.”

Entonces Booz le dijo a Rut: "¿Me estás escuchando, mi hija? No vayas y recojas grano en otro campo; no dejes mi campo. En lugar de eso, quédate aquí y trabaja con mis jóvenes trabajadoras.

Entonces Booz dijo á Ruth: Oye, hija mía, no vayas á espigar á otro campo, ni pases de aquí: y aquí estarás con mis mozas.

Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:

Then Boaz said to Ruth, “Listen, my daughter. Don’t go to glean in another field, and don’t go from here, but stay here close to my maidens.

Mantén tus ojos solamente en el campo donde los hombres están cosechando y sigue detrás a las otras mujeres. ¿No les he dado instrucciones a los hombres para que no te toquen? Y cuando tengas sed, puedes ir a las vasijas de agua y beber el agua que los hombres han sacado."

Mira bien al campo que segaren, y síguelas: porque yo he mandado á los mozos que no te toquen. Y si tuvieres sed, ve á los vasos, y bebe del agua que sacaren los mozos.

Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.

Let your eyes be on the field that they reap, and go after them. Haven’t I commanded the young men not to touch you? When you are thirsty, go to the vessels, and drink from that which the young men have drawn.”

Entonces ella se inclinó delante de Booz, tocando su cabeza al suelo. Ella le dijo: "¿Por qué he encontrado favor a su vista, para que usted deba estar preocupado por mí, una extranjera?"

Ella entonces bajando su rostro inclinóse á tierra, y díjole: ¿Por qué he hallado gracia en tus ojos para que tú me reconozcas, siendo yo extranjera?

Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?

Then she fell on her face and bowed herself to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your sight, that you should take knowledge of me, since I am a foreigner?”

Booz le contestó y le dijo: "Se me ha informado todo lo que tú has hecho desde la muerte de tu esposo. Tú has dejado a tu padre, madre y la tierra de tu nacimiento para seguir a tu suegra y venir a donde unas personas que no conoces.

Y respondiendo Booz, díjole: Por cierto se me ha declarado todo lo que has hecho con tu suegra después de la muerte de tu marido, y que dejando á tu padre y á tu madre y la tierra donde naciste, has venido á pueblo que no conociste antes.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz answered her, “I have been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father, your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn’t know before.

Que el SEÑOR te recompense por tu obra. Que recibas pago completo de el SEÑOR, el Dios de Israel, en quien bajo sus alas has encontrado refugio."

Jehová galardone tu obra, y tu remuneración sea llena por Jehová Dios de Israel, que has venido para cubrirte debajo de sus alas.

The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

May the LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given to you from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

Entonces ella dijo: "Déjeme encontrar favor a su vista, mi amo, pues usted me ha consolado, y usted me ha hablado amablemente, aunque yo no sea una de sus siervas."

Y ella dijo: Señor mío, halle yo gracia delante de tus ojos; porque me has consolado, y porque has hablado al corazón de tu sierva, no siendo yo como una de tus criadas.

Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.

Then she said, “Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, because you have comforted me, and because you have spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not as one of your servants.”

A la hora de la comida Booz le dijo a Rut: "Ven aquí, y come algo de pan, y sumerge tu bocado en el vinagre de vino." Ella se sentó junto a los segadores, y él le ofreció algo de grano tostado. Ella comió hasta que estuvo satisfecha y dejó el resto.

Y Booz le dijo á la hora de comer: Allégate aquí, y come del pan, y moja tu bocado en el vinagre. Y sentóse ella junto á los segadores, y él le dió del potaje, y comió hasta que se hartó y le sobró.

And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.

At meal time Boaz said to her, “Come here, and eat some bread, and dip your morsel in the vinegar.” She sat beside the reapers, and they passed her parched grain. She ate, was satisfied, and left some of it.

Cuando ella se levantó para recoger granos, Booz le ordenó a sus hombres, diciendo: "Déjenla recoger grano incluso entre las gavillas, y no le digan nada malo a ella.

Levantóse luego para espigar. Y Booz mandó á sus criados, diciendo: Coja también espigas entre las gavillas, y no la avergoncéis;

And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:

When she had risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and don’t reproach her.

Y ustedes también tienen que sacar algunas gavillas para ella de los manojos, y déjenlas para que ella las recoja. No la reprendan."

Antes echaréis á sabiendas de los manojos, y la dejaréis que coja, y no la reprendáis.

And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.

Also pull out some for her from the bundles, and leave it. Let her glean, and don’t rebuke her.”

Así que ella recogió en el campo hasta el atardecer. Entonces ella separó los granos que había recogido, y el grano era como 13 kilos de cebada.

Y espigó en el campo hasta la tarde, y desgranó lo que había cogido, y fué como un epha de cebada.

So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.

So she gleaned in the field until evening; and she beat out that which she had gleaned, and it was about an ephah of barley.

Ella lo levantó y fue a la ciudad. Entonces su suegra vio lo que ella había recogido. Rut también sacó el grano tostado que ella dejó de su comida y se lo dio.

Y tomólo, y vínose á la ciudad; y su suegra vió lo que había cogido. Sacó también luego lo que le había sobrado después de harta, y dióselo.

And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.

She took it up, and went into the city. Then her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned; and she brought out and gave to her that which she had left after she had enough.

Su suegra le dijo: "¿Dónde has recogido granos hoy? ¿A dónde fuiste a trabajar? Que el hombre que te ayudó sea bendecido." Entonces Rut le contó a su suegra sobre el hombre que era dueño del campo donde ella había trabajado. Ella dijo: "El nombre del hombre que es dueño del campo donde yo trabajé hoy es Booz."

Y díjole su suegra: ¿Dónde has espigado hoy? ¿y dónde has trabajado? bendito sea el que te ha reconocido. Y ella declaró á su suegra lo que le había acontecido con aquél, y dijo: El nombre del varón con quien hoy he trabajado es Booz.

And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man’s name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.

Her mother-in-law said to her, “Where have you gleaned today? Where have you worked? Blessed be he who noticed you.” She told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked, “The man’s name with whom I worked today is Boaz.”

Noemí le dijo a su nuera: "Que él sea bendecido por el SEÑOR, quien no ha dejado de lado su lealtad a los vivos y a los muertos." Noemí le dijo: "Ese hombre es nuestro pariente, uno de nuestros parientes redentores."

Y dijo Noemi á su nuera: Sea él bendito de Jehová, pues que no ha rehusado á los vivos la benevolencia que tuvo para con los finados. Díjole después Noemi: Nuestro pariente es aquel varón, y de nuestros redentores es.

And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen.

Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “May he be blessed by the LORD, who has not abandoned his kindness to the living and to the dead.” Naomi said to her, “The man is a close relative to us, one of our near kinsmen.”

Rut la moabita dijo: "En efecto, él me dijo: 'Debes mantenerte cerca de mis hombres hasta que ellos hayan terminado toda mi cosecha.'"

Y Ruth Moabita dijo: A más de esto me ha dicho: Júntate con mis criados, hasta que hayan acabado toda mi siega.

And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest.

Ruth the Moabitess said, “Yes, he said to me, ‘You shall stay close to my young men until they have finished all my harvest.’”

Noemí le dijo a Rut, su nuera: "Es bueno, mi hija, que tú salgas con sus jóvenes trabajadoras, para que no te hagas daño en cualquier otro campo."

Y Noemi respondió á Ruth su nuera: Mejor es, hija mía, que salgas con sus criadas, que no que te encuentren en otro campo.

And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field.

Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, “It is good, my daughter, that you go out with his maidens, and that they not harm you in any other field.”

Así que ella se quedó cerca de las trabajadoras de Booz para así recoger granos hasta el fin de la cosecha de la cebada y la cosecha del trigo. Y ella estaba viviendo con su suegra.

Estuvo pues junta con las mozas de Booz espigando, hasta que la siega de las cebadas y la de los trigos fué acabada; mas con su suegra habitó.

So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.

So she stayed close to the maidens of Boaz, to glean to the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and she lived with her mother-in-law.
