Or il marito di lei Elimelech avea un parente, uomo potente e di grandi ricchezze, per nome Booz.

Y TENÍA Noemi un pariente de su marido, varón poderoso y de hecho, de la familia de Elimelech, el cual se llamaba Booz.

And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.

Naomi had a relative of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech, and his name was Boaz.

E Ruth di Moab disse alla suocera: Se tu mel comandi, andrò alla campagna, e raccoglierò le spighe che scapperanno alle mani de' mietitori, dovunque troverò grazia presso alcun padre di famiglia, che usi bontà con me. E quella risposele: Va, figliuola mia.

Y Ruth la Moabita dijo á Noemi: Ruégote que me dejes ir al campo, y cogeré espigas en pos de aquel á cuyos ojos hallare gracia. Y ella le respondió: Ve, hija mía.

And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Let me now go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I find favor.” She said to her, “Go, my daughter.”

Ella adunque andò, e raccoglieva le spighe andando dietro a' mietitori. Or egli avvenne, che il padrone di quel campo era colui che chiarivasi Booz, il quale era della famiglia di Elimelech.

Fué pues, y llegando, espigó en el campo en pos de los segadores: y aconteció por ventura, que la suerte del campo era de Booz, el cual era de la parentela de Elimelech.

And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.

She went, and came and gleaned in the field after the reapers; and she happened to come to the portion of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.

Ed ecco che egli venne da Bethlehem, e disse a' mietitori: Il Signore sia con voi. Ed essi gli risposero: Il Signore ti benedica.

Y he aquí que Booz vino de Beth-lehem, y dijo á los segadores: Jehová sea con vosotros. Y ellos respondieron: Jehová te bendiga.

And, behold, Boaz came from Beth-lehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.

Behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, “May the LORD be with you.” They answered him, “May the LORD bless you.”

E disse Booz al giovane che soprantendeva a' mietitori: Di chi è questa fanciulla?

Y Booz dijo á su criado el sobrestante de los segadores: ¿Cúya es esta moza?

Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

Then Boaz said to his servant who was set over the reapers, “Whose young lady is this?”

E quegli rispose: Questa è la Moabitide, che è venuta con Noemi dal paese di Moab;

Y el criado, sobrestante de los segadores, respondió y dijo: Es la moza de Moab, que volvió con Noemi de los campos de Moab;

And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:

The servant who was set over the reapers answered, “It is the Moabite lady who came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab.

E ha domandato in grazia di raccogliere le spighe che restavano andando dietro alle pedate de' mietitori: e dal mattino sino a quest'ora se ne sta nel campo, e non se v'è andata a casa neppure un momento.

Y ha dicho: Ruégote que me dejes coger y juntar tras los segadores entre las gavillas: entró pues, y está desde por la mañana hasta ahora, menos un poco que se detuvo en casa.

And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.’ So she came, and has continued even from the morning until now, except that she rested a little in the house.”

E Booz disse a Ruth: Senti, figliuola non andare in altro campo a raccogliere, e non partire da questo luogo; ma stà insieme colle mie figlie,

Entonces Booz dijo á Ruth: Oye, hija mía, no vayas á espigar á otro campo, ni pases de aquí: y aquí estarás con mis mozas.

Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:

Then Boaz said to Ruth, “Listen, my daughter. Don’t go to glean in another field, and don’t go from here, but stay here close to my maidens.

E va lor dietro, dove avranno mietuto: perocché io ho ordinato a' miei servi che nissuno ti dia fastidio: e di più se avrai sete, va dove sono i vasi, e bevi dell'acqua, di cui beve anche la mia gente.

Mira bien al campo que segaren, y síguelas: porque yo he mandado á los mozos que no te toquen. Y si tuvieres sed, ve á los vasos, y bebe del agua que sacaren los mozos.

Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.

Let your eyes be on the field that they reap, and go after them. Haven’t I commanded the young men not to touch you? When you are thirsty, go to the vessels, and drink from that which the young men have drawn.”

Ed ella inchinandosi fino a terra colla sua faccia gli fece riverenza, e disse: E donde a me questo, che io abbia trovato grazia dinanzi a' tuoi occhi, e che tu ti degni di far conto di me donna straniera?

Ella entonces bajando su rostro inclinóse á tierra, y díjole: ¿Por qué he hallado gracia en tus ojos para que tú me reconozcas, siendo yo extranjera?

Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?

Then she fell on her face and bowed herself to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your sight, that you should take knowledge of me, since I am a foreigner?”

Egli le rispose: Mi è stato raccontato tutto quello che hai fatto in verso la tua suocera dopo la morte di tuo marito: e come hai abbandonati i tuoi parenti, e il paese, dove nascesti, e sei venuta in un popolo, cui tu prima non conoscevi.

Y respondiendo Booz, díjole: Por cierto se me ha declarado todo lo que has hecho con tu suegra después de la muerte de tu marido, y que dejando á tu padre y á tu madre y la tierra donde naciste, has venido á pueblo que no conociste antes.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz answered her, “I have been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father, your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn’t know before.

Il Signore renda mercede alle opere tue, e ti rimuneri con pienezza il Signore Dio d'Israele, a cui se' ricorsa, e sotto le ali del quale ti sei rifuggita.

Jehová galardone tu obra, y tu remuneración sea llena por Jehová Dios de Israel, que has venido para cubrirte debajo de sus alas.

The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

May the LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given to you from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

Ed ella disse: Io ho trovato grazia dinanzi agli occhi tuoi, o signor mio, che mi hai consolata, e hai parlato al cuore di me tua serva che non son da paragonare con una di tue ancelle.

Y ella dijo: Señor mío, halle yo gracia delante de tus ojos; porque me has consolado, y porque has hablado al corazón de tu sierva, no siendo yo como una de tus criadas.

Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.

Then she said, “Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, because you have comforted me, and because you have spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not as one of your servants.”

E Booz le disse: Quando sarà l'ora di mangiare, vieni qua, e mangia del pane, e intingi i tuoi bocconi nell'aceto. Ed ella si pose a sedere accanto a' mietitori, ed ei le diede in copia della polenta, ed ella mangiò, e si satollò, e ne mise a parte gli avanzi.

Y Booz le dijo á la hora de comer: Allégate aquí, y come del pan, y moja tu bocado en el vinagre. Y sentóse ella junto á los segadores, y él le dió del potaje, y comió hasta que se hartó y le sobró.

And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.

At meal time Boaz said to her, “Come here, and eat some bread, and dip your morsel in the vinegar.” She sat beside the reapers, and they passed her parched grain. She ate, was satisfied, and left some of it.

E di poi si alzò per raccorre le spighe secondo il solito. Ma Booz ordinò, e disse ai suoi servi: Quand'anche ella volesse mietere con voi, lasciatela fare:

Levantóse luego para espigar. Y Booz mandó á sus criados, diciendo: Coja también espigas entre las gavillas, y no la avergoncéis;

And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:

When she had risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and don’t reproach her.

E gettate ancora per terra apposta delle spighe dei vostri manipoli, e lasciate che vi restino, affinchè ella non abbia rossore a raccorle, e nissuno la riprenda, mentre le raccorrà.

Antes echaréis á sabiendas de los manojos, y la dejaréis que coja, y no la reprendáis.

And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.

Also pull out some for her from the bundles, and leave it. Let her glean, and don’t rebuke her.”

Ella adunque spigolò nel campo fino alla sera: e battendo con un bastone, e scuotendo quello che avea raccolto, trovò all'incirca un ephi di orzo, cioè tre misure.

Y espigó en el campo hasta la tarde, y desgranó lo que había cogido, y fué como un epha de cebada.

So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.

E portandole seco tornò alla città, e le fece vedere alla suocera: e oltre a questo mise fuori, e le offerse la porzione del cibo che l'era avanzata dopo essersi saziata.

Y tomólo, y vínose á la ciudad; y su suegra vió lo que había cogido. Sacó también luego lo que le había sobrado después de harta, y dióselo.

And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.

She took it up, and went into the city. Then her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned; and she brought out and gave to her that which she had left after she had enough.

E la suocera dissele: Dove se' stata oggi a raccogliere, e a lavorare? sia benedetto colui che ha avuto misericordia di te. Ed ella le disse presso di chi avesse lavorato, e le disse il nome di quell'uomo, e come chiamavasi Booz.

Y díjole su suegra: ¿Dónde has espigado hoy? ¿y dónde has trabajado? bendito sea el que te ha reconocido. Y ella declaró á su suegra lo que le había acontecido con aquél, y dijo: El nombre del varón con quien hoy he trabajado es Booz.

And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man’s name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.

Her mother-in-law said to her, “Where have you gleaned today? Where have you worked? Blessed be he who noticed you.” She told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked, “The man’s name with whom I worked today is Boaz.”

Rispose Noemi: Sia egli benedetto dal Signore, dappoiché l'amore che ha avuto pei vivi, lo serba anche pei morti. E soggiunse: Quest'uomo è nostro parente.

Y dijo Noemi á su nuera: Sea él bendito de Jehová, pues que no ha rehusado á los vivos la benevolencia que tuvo para con los finados. Díjole después Noemi: Nuestro pariente es aquel varón, y de nuestros redentores es.

And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen.

Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “May he be blessed by the LORD, who has not abandoned his kindness to the living and to the dead.” Naomi said to her, “The man is a close relative to us, one of our near kinsmen.”

E Ruth disse: Egli ha ancora ordinato che io vada co' suoi mietitori per fino a tanto che sia finita tutta la messe.

Y Ruth Moabita dijo: A más de esto me ha dicho: Júntate con mis criados, hasta que hayan acabado toda mi siega.

And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest.

Ruth the Moabitess said, “Yes, he said to me, ‘You shall stay close to my young men until they have finished all my harvest.’”

Dissele la suocera: È meglio, figliuola mia, che tu vada a mietere colle figlie di lui, affinchè andando al campo d'un altro non ti sia dato fastidio da qualcheduno.

Y Noemi respondió á Ruth su nuera: Mejor es, hija mía, que salgas con sus criadas, que no que te encuentren en otro campo.

And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field.

Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, “It is good, my daughter, that you go out with his maidens, and that they not harm you in any other field.”

Ella adunque andò colle fanciulle di Booz, e continuò a raccorre fino a tanto che l'orzo, e il frumento furono riposti ne' granai. Ruth per consiglio della suocera va a mettersi a' piedi di Booz, mentre questi dormiva, chiedendogli modestamente, che la sposi. Ne ha buona risposta, e porta alla suocera sei moggia di OTZO.

Estuvo pues junta con las mozas de Booz espigando, hasta que la siega de las cebadas y la de los trigos fué acabada; mas con su suegra habitó.

So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.

So she stayed close to the maidens of Boaz, to glean to the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and she lived with her mother-in-law.
