Nova Bíblia Viva
1Portanto, agora já não há nenhuma condenação para aqueles que pertencem a Cristo Jesus.
2Portanto o poder do Espírito doador da vida — e eu recebo este poder por meio de Cristo Jesus — livrou-me da lei do pecado e da morte.
3Não estamos a salvo das garras do pecado só pelo fato de conhecermos os mandamentos de Deus, pois não podemos guardá-los, mas Deus pôs em ação um plano diferente a fim de nos salvar. Ele enviou seu próprio Filho, em corpo humano como o nosso, a fim de destruir o controle do pecado sobre nós, dando-se a si mesmo como sacrifício por nossos pecados.
4Assim, agora podemos obedecer às leis divinas se seguirmos o Espírito Santo e não mais obedecermos à velha natureza pecaminosa que está dentro de nós.
5Aqueles que se deixam controlar por sua natureza humana vivem tão somente para agradar a si próprios; mas aqueles que vivem de acordo com o Espírito constatam que têm a sua mente controlada pelo Espírito.
6Seguir o Espírito Santo conduz à vida e à paz, mas seguir a velha natureza leva à morte,
7porque a velha natureza pecaminosa dentro de nós é inimiga de Deus. Ela nunca se submete à Lei de Deus, e nunca o fará.
8É por essa razão que aqueles que ainda estão sob o controle de sua própria natureza pecaminosa não podem agradar a Deus.
9Vocês, porém, não são controlados pela natureza humana. Vocês são controlados pelo Espírito, se de fato o Espírito de Deus está morando em vocês. E lembrem-se de que, se alguém não tiver o Espírito de Cristo, esse não pertence a Cristo.
10Mas se Cristo vive dentro de vocês, seus corpos estão mortos por causa do pecado; no entanto, o espírito está vivo por causa da justiça.
11E se o Espírito daquele que ressuscitou Jesus dentre os mortos vive em vocês, aquele que ressuscitou a Cristo dentre os mortos também fará com que seus corpos mortais vivam de novo, por meio desse mesmo Espírito que mora em vocês.
12Portanto, irmãos, vocês não têm para com a velha natureza pecaminosa qualquer obrigação de fazer o que ela lhes pede.
13Pois se vocês continuarem a segui-la, estão perdidos e perecerão; mas se a destruírem, juntamente com suas más obras, por meio do poder do Espírito, vocês viverão.
14Porque todos que são dirigidos pelo Espírito de Deus são filhos de Deus.
15Pois vocês não receberam o espírito que os torne escravos medrosos e servis, mas receberam o Espírito que os adota como verdadeiros filhos, pelo qual clamamos: “Aba, Pai”.
16O próprio Espírito fala no íntimo dos nossos corações, dizendo-nos que somos realmente filhos de Deus.
17E se somos os seus filhos, então somos herdeiros — herdeiros de Deus e co-herdeiros com Cristo. Mas se vamos participar da sua glória, precisamos também participar dos seus sofrimentos.
18Contudo, aquilo que sofremos agora é insignificante, se compararmos com a glória que ele nos dará mais tarde.
19Toda a criação espera com expectativa que os filhos de Deus sejam revelados.
20Pois toda a criação foi submetida à inutilidade, não pela sua própria vontade, mas por causa da vontade daquele que a sujeitou,
21na esperança de que a própria criação seja libertada da escravidão da decadência em que se encontra, e participe da gloriosa liberdade que os filhos de Deus desfrutam.
22Sabemos que até mesmo a natureza criada geme até agora, como uma mulher que está em trabalho de parto.
23E mesmo nós, os santos, embora tenhamos o Espírito Santo em nós como uma amostra que nos permite conhecer o sabor da glória futura, também gememos interiormente para ser libertados da dor e do sofrimento. Nós também esperamos ansiosamente aquele dia quando Deus nos dará plenos direitos nos adotando como seus filhos, inclusive a redenção dos nossos corpos.
24Somos salvos por essa esperança. E esperar quer dizer: esperar ansiosamente conseguir algo que ainda não temos. Quem espera aquilo que está vendo?
25Entretanto, se precisamos continuar a esperar em Deus por algo que ainda não aconteceu, isso nos ensina a esperar com paciência.
26E desse mesmo modo, o Espírito nos ajuda em nossa fraqueza, pois não sabemos como orar. O Espírito, porém, ora por nós com gemidos que não podem ser expressos em palavras.
27E aquele que conhece todos os corações sabe a intenção do Espírito, porque o Espírito intercede pelos santos em harmonia com a própria vontade divina.
28E sabemos que tudo quanto nos acontece está operando para o nosso próprio bem, se amarmos a Deus e estivermos ajustados aos seus planos.
29Desde o princípio de tudo, Deus já conhecia os seus escolhidos, e ele também os predestinou para que se tornassem semelhantes à imagem de seu Filho, de tal modo que seu Filho seja o primeiro entre muitos irmãos.
30E aos que predestinou, ele também chamou; não somente chamou, como também justificou; e aos que justificou, também glorificou.
31Que podemos dizer diante de coisas tão magníficas quanto estas? Se Deus está do nosso lado, quem é que pode estar contra nós?
32Visto que ele não poupou nem o seu próprio Filho, mas o entregou por todos nós, será que certamente não nos dará, e de graça, todas as coisas?
33Quem se atreve a acusar os escolhidos de Deus? É Deus quem os justifica.
34Quem nos condenará, então? Foi Cristo quem morreu por nós e ressuscitou por nossa causa, e agora está sentado à direita de Deus, e também intercede por nós.
35Quem, então, pode nos separar do amor de Cristo? Será sofrimento ou angústia, ou perseguição, ou fome, ou nudez, ou perigo, ou a própria morte?
36Como está escrito: “Mas o fato é que por sermos fiéis ao Senhor estamos sofrendo perigo de morte a todo instante; somos como ovelhas destinadas ao matadouro”.
37Mas apesar de tudo isso, temos uma vitória esmagadora por meio daquele que nos amou.
38Estou convencido de que nada poderá nos separar do seu amor: nem a morte, nem a vida, nem os anjos, nem principados e potestades, nem o presente nem o futuro,
39nem um lugar bem alto no céu, ou nas profundezas do mar, nem qualquer outra coisa será capaz de separar-nos do amor de Deus que está em Cristo Jesus, o nosso Senhor.

1AHORA pues, ninguna condenación hay para los que están en Cristo Jesús, los que no andan conforme á la carne, mas conforme al espíritu.
2Porque la ley del Espíritu de vida en Cristo Jesús me ha librado de la ley del pecado y de la muerte.
3Porque lo que era imposible á la ley, por cuanto era débil por la carne, Dios enviando á su Hijo en semejanza de carne de pecado, y á causa del pecado, condenó al pecado en la carne;
4Para que la justicia de la ley fuese cumplida en nosotros, que no andamos conforme á la carne, mas conforme al espíritu.
5Porque los que viven conforme á la carne, de las cosas que son de la carne se ocupan; mas los que conforme al espíritu, de las cosas del espíritu.
6Porque la intención de la carne es muerte; mas la intención del espíritu, vida y paz:
7Por cuanto la intención de la carne es enemistad contra Dios; porque no se sujeta á la ley de Dios, ni tampoco puede.
8Así que, los que están en la carne no pueden agradar á Dios.
9Mas vosotros no estáis en la carne, sino en el espíritu, si es que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros. Y si alguno no tiene el Espíritu de Cristo, el tal no es de él.
10Empero si Cristo está en vosotros, el cuerpo á la verdad está muerto á causa del pecado; mas el espíritu vive á causa de la justicia.
11Y si el Espíritu de aquel que levantó de los muertos á Jesús mora en vosotros, el que levantó á Cristo Jesús de los muertos, vivificará también vuestros cuerpos mortales por su Espíritu que mora en vosotros.
12Así que, hermanos, deudores somos, no á la carne, para que vivamos conforme á la carne:
13Porque si viviereis conforme á la carne, moriréis; mas si por el espíritu mortificáis las obras de la carne, viviréis.
14Porque todos los que son guiados por el Espíritu de Dios, los tales son hijos de Dios.
15Porque no habéis recibido el espíritu de servidumbre para estar otra vez en temor; mas habéis recibido el espíritu de adopción, por el cual clamamos, Abba, Padre.
16Porque el mismo Espíritu da testimonio á nuestro espíritu que somos hijos de Dios.
17Y si hijos, también herederos; herederos de Dios, y coherederos de Cristo; si empero padecemos juntamente con él, para que juntamente con él seamos glorificados.
18Porque tengo por cierto que lo que en este tiempo se padece, no es de comparar con la gloria venidera que en nosotros ha de ser manifestada.
19Porque el continuo anhelar de las criaturas espera la manifestación de los hijos de Dios.
20Porque las criaturas sujetas fueron á vanidad, no de grado, mas por causa del que las sujetó con esperanza,
21Que también las mismas criaturas serán libradas de la servidumbre de corrupción en la libertad gloriosa de los hijos de Dios.
22Porque sabemos que todas las criaturas gimen á una, y á una están de parto hasta ahora.
23Y no sólo ellas, mas también nosotros mismos, que tenemos las primicias del Espíritu, nosotros también gemimos dentro de nosotros mismos, esperando la adopción, es á saber, la redención de nuestro cuerpo.
24Porque en esperanza somos salvos; mas la esperanza que se ve, no es esperanza; porque lo que alguno ve, ¿á qué esperarlo?
25Empero si lo que no vemos esperamos, por paciencia esperamos.
26Y asimismo también el Espíritu ayuda nuestra flaqueza: porque qué hemos de pedir como conviene, no lo sabemos; sino que el mismo Espíritu pide por nosotros con gemidos indecibles.
27Mas el que escudriña los corazones, sabe cuál es el intento del Espíritu, porque conforme á la voluntad de Dios, demanda por los santos.
28Y sabemos que á los que á Dios aman, todas las cosas les ayudan á bien, es á saber, á los que conforme al propósito son llamados.
29Porque á los que antes conoció, también predestinó para que fuesen hechos conformes á la imagen de su Hijo, para que él sea el primogénito entre muchos hermanos;
30Y á los que predestinó, á éstos también llamó; y á los que llamó, á éstos también justificó; y á los que justificó, á éstos también glorificó.
31¿Pues qué diremos á esto? Si Dios por nosotros, ¿quién contra nosotros?
32El que aun á su propio Hijo no perdonó, antes le entregó por todos nosotros, ¿cómo no nos dará también con él todas las cosas?
33¿Quién acusará á los escogidos de Dios? Dios es el que justifica.
34¿Quién es el que condenará? Cristo es el que murió; más aún, el que también resucitó, quien además está á la diestra de Dios, el que también intercede por nosotros.
35¿Quién nos apartará del amor de Cristo? tribulación? ó angustia? ó persecución? ó hambre? ó desnudez? ó peligro? ó cuchillo?
36Como está escrito: Por causa de ti somos muertos todo el tiempo: somos estimados como ovejas de matadero.
37Antes, en todas estas cosas hacemos más que vencer por medio de aquel que nos amó.
38Por lo cual estoy cierto que ni la muerte, ni la vida, ni ángeles, ni principados, ni potestades, ni lo presente, ni lo por venir,
39Ni lo alto, ni lo bajo, ni ninguna criatura nos podrá apartar del amor de Dios, que es en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.

1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
3For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,
4that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
5For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
7because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God, for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be.
8Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.
9But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
10If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
11But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
12So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

24For we were saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees?
25But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.
26In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.
27He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.
28We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
29For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.
31What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
33Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies.
34Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36Even as it is written, “For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
