Este es el evangelio que el prometió de antemano por sus profetas en las Sagradas Escrituras.

Pues la justicia de Dios se revela por fe y para fe, según ha sido escrito, "EL JUSTO POR FE VIVIRÁ."

Porque la ira de Dios se revela desde el cielo contra toda impiedad e injusticia del hombre, quien injustamente detiene la verdad,

Esto es porque aquello que se conoce acerca de Dios es visible a ellos. Porque Dios los ha iluminado.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Pues sus atributos invisibles, a saber su eterno poder y naturaleza divina, han sido vistas claramente aún desde la creación del mundo, en las cosas que han sido creadas. Asi que son sin excusa.
Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterna potencia y divinidad, se echan de ver desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por las cosas que son hechas; de modo que son inexcusables:

Esto es porque, aunque ellos conocían acerca de Dios, ellos no lo glorificaron a Él como Dios, ni le dieron gracias. En cambio, ellos se volvieron necios en sus pensamientos, y sus insensibles corazones fueron oscurecidos.
Porque habiendo conocido á Dios, no le glorificaron como á Dios, ni dieron gracias; antes se desvanecieron en sus discursos, y el necio corazón de ellos fué entenebrecido.

Ellos intercambiaron la gloria del Dios inmortal por la semejanza de una imagen de hombre mortal, de aves, de bestias de cuatro patas, y de cosas que se arrastran.
Y trocaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible en semejanza de imagen de hombre corruptible, y de aves, y de animales de cuatro pies, y de serpientes.

Por consiguiente Dios los entregó a la lujuria de sus corazones para impureza, para que sus cuerpos sean deshonrados entre ellos mismos.

Los cuales mudaron la verdad de Dios en mentira, honrando y sirviendo á las criaturas antes que al Criador, el cual es bendito por los siglos. Amén.

Por causa de esto, Dios los entregó a pasiones deshonrosas, pues sus mujeres intercambiaron su función natural por aquello que es contra la naturaleza.

De igual manera, los hombres también dejaron su función natural con las mujeres y se encendieron en su lujuria unos con otros. Éstos eran hombres que cometieron actos vergonzosos con hombres y recibieron para sí mismos el castigo que merecian por su perversión.
Y del mismo modo también los hombres, dejando el uso natural de las mujeres, se encendieron en sus concupiscencias los unos con los otros, cometiendo cosas nefandas hombres con hombres, y recibiendo en sí mismos la recompensa que convino á su extravío.
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Porque ellos no aprobaron tener a Dios en su conciencia, Él los entregó a una mente depravada, para que ellos hagan aquellas cosas que no son apropiadas.

Ellos han sido llenados con toda injusticia, maldad, codicia y malicia. Ellos están llenos de envidia, asesinato, contienda, engaño y malas intenciones.
Estando atestados de toda iniquidad, de fornicación, de malicia, de avaricia, de maldad; llenos de envidia, de homicidios, de contiendas, de engaños, de malignidades;
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,
Ellos son chismosos, calumniadores, enemigos de Dios. Ellos son violentos, arrogantes, jactanciosos. Ellos son inventores de cosas malvadas, y son desobedientes a sus padres.
Murmuradores, detractores, aborrecedores de Dios, injuriosos, soberbios, altivos, inventores de males, desobedientes á los padres,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Ellos no tienen entendimiento; son indignos de confianza, sin afecto natural y despiadados.
Necios, desleales, sin afecto natural, implacables, sin misericordia:
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful;
Ellos entienden las regulaciones de Dios, que aquellos quienes practican tales cosas son dignos de muerte. Pero no sólo hacen estas cosas, ellos también aprueban a otros quienes las practican.
Que, habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios que los que hacen tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, mas aun consienten á los que las hacen.
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
