Romanos 15
Nova Bíblia Viva
1Mesmo que acreditemos que não faz diferença para o Senhor se praticarmos essas coisas, ainda assim não podemos ir adiante e praticá-las para agradarmos a nós mesmos; é preciso carregar o peso de termos consideração para com as dúvidas e temores de outras pessoas — daqueles que sentem que essas coisas estão erradas.
2Agrademos ao outro, e não a nós mesmos, e façamos aquilo que é para o seu bem e assim o edificaremos no Senhor.
3Pois Cristo também não procurou agradar a si mesmo. Tal como disse o salmista: “Os insultos daqueles que te insultam caíram sobre mim”.
4Essas coisas que foram registradas nas Escrituras no passado, servem para nos ensinar a paciência e para nos animar, a fim de que mantenhamos a nossa esperança.
5Que Deus, aquele que dá paciência e ânimo, possa ajudá-los a viver em completa harmonia uns com os outros — cada um tendo para com o outro a mesma atitude de Cristo.
6E, então, todos nós podemos juntos louvar ao Senhor a uma voz, dando glória a Deus e Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
7Portanto, acolham-se calorosamente uns aos outros, tal como Cristo os acolheu calorosamente; e então Deus será glorificado.
8Lembrem-se que Jesus Cristo veio para mostrar que Deus é fiel às suas promessas para os que são da circuncisão por amor à verdade de Deus, para que se cumprissem as promessas feitas aos patriarcas.
9E lembrem-se que ele veio também para que os gentios dessem glória a Deus pelas suas misericórdias para com eles. Isso foi o que o salmista quis dizer, quando escreveu: “Eu o louvarei entre os que não são israelitas, e cantarei ao seu nome”.
10E em outro lugar diz: “Regozijem-se, vocês gentios, juntamente com o seu povo”.
11E mais uma vez: “Louvem ao Senhor, todos vocês, gentios; que todos os povos o louvem”.
12E o profeta Isaías também disse: “Haverá um herdeiro na casa de Jessé, e ele será rei sobre os gentios; eles porão suas esperanças somente nele”.
13Que o Deus da esperança os encha de alegria e de paz, enquanto crerem nele. Oro para que vocês transbordem de esperança nele, mediante o poder do Espírito Santo.
14Eu sei, meus irmãos, que vocês são cheios de bondade e de sabedoria, e que conhecem essas coisas tão bem que são capazes de ensinar aos outros tudo a respeito delas.
15Mas mesmo assim tenho sido bastante ousado em dar ênfase a alguns destes pontos, sabendo que tudo quanto vocês precisam é esse lembrete de minha parte. Por causa da graça de Deus,
16eu sou um mensageiro especial da parte de Jesus Cristo a vocês, os gentios, levando-lhes o evangelho e oferecendo-os como um sacrifício aceitável a Deus, santificados pelo Espírito Santo.
17Assim, tenho direito de me gloriar em Cristo Jesus pelo serviço realizado a Deus.
18Não me atrevo a julgar quão efetivamente ele usou os outros, porém isto eu sei: Ele me usou para ganhar para Deus os gentios,
19pelo poder de sinais e maravilhas e por meio do poder do Espírito de Deus. Desse modo eu preguei o evangelho completo de Cristo por todo o caminho, desde Jerusalém e arredores, até o Ilírico.
20Entretanto, meu objetivo o tempo todo tem sido ir ainda mais longe, e pregar onde o nome de Cristo nunca foi ouvido antes, em vez de edificar sobre alicerce de outro.
21Tenho seguido o plano já delineado nas Escrituras, onde diz: “Aqueles que nunca ouviram falar dele o verão, e o compreenderão aqueles que não haviam ouvido falar dele”.
22De fato, esse é o verdadeiro motivo pelo qual tenho sido impedido de chegar até vocês.
23Agora, porém, estou finalmente terminando o meu trabalho aqui, e estou pronto a ir, depois de todos esses longos anos de espera.
24Estou planejando fazer uma viagem à Espanha, e quando for, passarei aí em Roma; e depois de termos desfrutado um pouco da companhia de vocês, vocês poderão me ajudar a ir até lá.
25Mas, antes de ir, eu preciso descer a Jerusalém, a serviço dos santos que vivem ali.
26Porque, como vocês sabem, os santos da Macedônia e da Acaia contribuíram com uma coleta para os santos de Jerusalém, que estão passando dificuldades.
27Eles ficaram muito contentes em fazer isso, pois sentem que têm uma verdadeira dívida para com os irmãos de Jerusalém. Por quê? Porque as notícias a respeito de Cristo lhes chegaram através da igreja de Jerusalém. Visto que os gentios receberam essa magnífica dádiva espiritual do evangelho dos judeus, sentem que o mínimo que podem fazer em retribuição é dar-lhes alguma ajuda material.
28Assim que tiver completado essa tarefa e tiver certeza de que eles receberam esse fruto, irei ver vocês a caminho da Espanha.
29E estou certo de que, quando eu for, levarei comigo muitas bênçãos do Senhor.
30Vocês querem ser meus companheiros de oração? Pelo amor do Senhor Jesus Cristo, e por causa do amor que vocês têm para comigo — e que lhes foi dado pelo Espírito Santo — unam-se a mim em minha luta e orem a Deus em meu favor.
31Orem para que lá em Jerusalém eu seja protegido daqueles que são incrédulos. Orem também para que os santos de lá se prontifiquem a aceitar o dinheiro que lhes estou levando.
32Então, poderei ir visitar vocês com um coração alegre pela vontade de Deus, e assim poderemos reanimar-nos mutuamente.
33E agora, que o nosso Deus, que concede a paz, seja com todos vocês. Amém.

1ASÍ que, los que somos más firmes debemos sobrellevar las flaquezas de los flacos, y no agradarnos á nosotros mismos.
2Cada uno de nosotros agrade á su prójimo en bien, á edificación.
3Porque Cristo no se agradó á sí mismo; antes bien, como está escrito: Los vituperios de los que te vituperan, cayeron sobre mí.
4Porque las cosas que antes fueron escritas, para nuestra enseñanza fueron escritas; para que por la paciencia, y por la consolación de las Escrituras, tengamos esperanza.
5Mas el Dios de la paciencia y de la consolación os dé que entre vosotros seáis unánimes según Cristo Jesús;
6Para que concordes, á una boca glorifiquéis al Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
7Por tanto, sobrellevaos los unos á los otros, como también Cristo nos sobrellevó, para gloria de Dios.
8Digo, pues, que Cristo Jesús fué hecho ministro de la circuncisión por la verdad de Dios, para confirmar las promesas hechas á los padres,
9Y para que los Gentiles glorifiquen á Dios por la misericordia; como está escrito: Por tanto yo te confesaré entre los Gentiles, y cantaré á tu nombre.
10Y otra vez dice: Alegraos, Gentiles, con su pueblo.
11Y otra vez: Alabad al Señor todos los Gentiles, y magnificadle, todos los pueblos.
12Y otra vez, dice Isaías: Estará la raíz de Jessé, y el que se levantará á regir los Gentiles: los Gentiles esperarán en él.
13Y el Dios de esperanza os llene de todo gozo y paz creyendo, para que abundéis en esperanza por la virtud del Espíritu Santo.
14Empero cierto estoy yo de vosotros, hermanos míos, que aun vosotros mismos estáis llenos de bondad, llenos de todo conocimiento, de tal manera que podáis amonestaros los unos á los otros.
15Mas os he escrito, hermanos, en parte resueltamente, como amonestándoos por la gracia que de Dios me es dada,
16Para ser ministro de Jesucristo á los Gentiles, ministrando el evangelio de Dios, para que la ofrenda de los Gentiles sea agradable, santificada por el Espíritu Santo.
17Tengo, pues, de qué gloriarme en Cristo Jesús en lo que mira á Dios.
18Porque no osaría hablar alguna cosa que Cristo no haya hecho por mí para la obediencia de los Gentiles, con la palabra y con las obras,
19Con potencia de milagros y prodigios, en virtud del Espíritu de Dios: de manera que desde Jerusalem, y por los alrededores hasta Ilírico, he llenado todo del evangelio de Cristo.
20Y de esta manera me esforcé á predicar el evangelio, no donde antes Cristo fuese nombrado, por no edificar sobre ajeno fundamento:
21Sino, como está escrito: A los que no fué anunciado de él, verán: y los que no oyeron, entenderán.
22Por lo cual aun he sido impedido muchas veces de venir á vosotros.
23Mas ahora no teniendo más lugar en estas regiones, y deseando ir á vosotros muchos años há,
24Cuando partiere para España, iré á vosotros; porque espero que pasando os veré, y que seré llevado de vosotros allá, si empero antes hubiere gozado de vosotros.
25Mas ahora parto para Jerusalem á ministrar á los santos.
26Porque Macedonia y Acaya tuvieron por bien hacer una colecta para los pobres de los santos que están en Jerusalem.
27Porque les pareció bueno, y son deudores á ellos: porque si los Gentiles han sido hechos participantes de sus bienes espirituales, deben también ellos servirles en los carnales.
28Así que, cuando hubiere concluído esto, y les hubiere consignado este fruto, pasaré por vosotros á España.
29Y sé que cuando llegue á vosotros, llegaré con abundancia de la bendición del evangelio de Cristo.
30Ruégoos empero, hermanos, por el Señor nuestro Jesucristo, y por la caridad del Espíritu, que me ayudéis con oraciones por mí á Dios,
31Que sea librado de los rebeldes que están en Judea, y que la ofrenda de mi servicio á los santos en Jerusalem sea acepta;
32Para que con gozo llegue á vosotros por la voluntad de Dios, y que sea recreado juntamente con vosotros.
33Y el Dios de paz sea con todos vosotros. Amén.

1We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
3For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
4For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
5Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
6That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
8Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
9And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
10And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
11And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
12And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
14And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
15Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
16That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
17I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
18For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
19Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
20Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:
21But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.
22For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.
23But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;
24Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.
25But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.
26For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.
27It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
28When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.
29And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
30Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
31That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
32That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
33Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

21But, as it is written, “They will see, to whom no news of him came. They who haven’t heard will understand.”
22Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,
23but now, no longer having any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come to you,
24whenever I travel to Spain, I will come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while.
25But now, I say, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints.
26For it has been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are at Jerusalem.
27Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in material things.
28When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by way of you to Spain.
29I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the Good News of Christ.
30Now I beg you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me,
31that I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,
