Apocalipsis 9

E fu dato loro non di ammazzargli, ma che fossero tormentati per cinque mesi: e il tormento di essi (sia) come il tormento, che da lo scorpione, quando morde un uomo.

Y les fué dado que no los matasen, sino que los atormentasen cinco meses; y su tormento era como tormento de escorpión, cuando hiere al hombre.

And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

They were given power, not to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a person.
