1Darnach sah ich vier Engel an den vier Ecken der Erde stehen, die hielten die vier Winde der Erde, damit kein Wind wehe über die Erde noch über das Meer noch über irgend einen Baum.
2Und ich sah einen andern Engel vom Sonnenaufgang heraufsteigen, der hatte das Siegel des lebendigen Gottes; und er rief mit lauter Stimme den vier Engeln zu, welchen Macht gegeben war, die Erde und das Meer zu schädigen,
3und sprach: Schädiget die Erde nicht, noch das Meer noch die Bäume, bis wir die Knechte unsres Gottes auf ihren Stirnen versiegelt haben!
4Und ich hörte die Zahl der Versiegelten: Hundertvierundvierzigtausend Versiegelte, aus allen Stämmen der Kinder Israel.
5Aus dem Stamm Juda zwölftausend Versiegelte; aus dem Stamm Ruben zwölftausend; aus dem Stamm Gad zwölftausend;
6aus dem Stamm Asser zwölftausend; aus dem Stamm Naphtali zwölftausend; aus dem Stamm Manasse zwölftausend;
7aus dem Stamm Simeon zwölftausend; aus dem Stamm Levi zwölftausend; aus dem Stamm Issaschar zwölftausend;
8aus dem Stamm Sebulon zwölftausend; aus dem Stamm Joseph zwölftausend; aus dem Stamm Benjamin zwölftausend Versiegelte.
9Darnach sah ich, und siehe, eine große Schar, die niemand zählen konnte, aus allen Nationen und Stämmen und Völkern und Zungen; die standen vor dem Throne und vor dem Lamm, angetan mit weißen Kleidern, und Palmen in ihren Händen.
10Und sie riefen mit lauter Stimme und sprachen: Das Heil steht bei unsrem Gott, der auf dem Throne sitzt, und bei dem Lamm!
11Und alle Engel standen rings um den Thron und um die Ältesten und die vier lebendigen Wesen und fielen vor dem Thron auf ihr Angesicht und beteten Gott an
12und sprachen: Amen! Lobpreisung und Ruhm und Weisheit und Dank und Ehre und Macht und Stärke sei unsrem Gott von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! Amen.
13Und einer von den Ältesten hob an und sprach zu mir: Wer sind diese, die mit weißen Kleidern angetan sind, und woher sind sie gekommen?
14Und ich sprach zu ihm: Mein Herr, du weißt es! Und er sprach zu mir: Das sind die, welche aus der großen Trübsal kommen; und sie haben ihre Kleider gewaschen und hell gemacht im Blute des Lammes.
15Darum sind sie vor dem Throne Gottes und dienen ihm Tag und Nacht in seinem Tempel; und der auf dem Throne sitzt, wird über ihnen wohnen.
16Und sie werden nicht mehr hungern noch dürsten; es wird auch nicht die Sonne auf sie fallen noch irgend eine Hitze;
17denn das Lamm, das inmitten des Thrones ist, wird sie weiden und sie leiten zu Wasserquellen des Lebens, und Gott wird abwischen alle Tränen von ihren Augen.

1Y DESPUÉS de estas cosas vi cuatro ángeles que estaban sobre los cuatro ángulos de la tierra, deteniendo los cuatro vientos de la tierra, para que no soplase viento sobre la tierra, ni sobre la mar, ni sobre ningún árbol.
2Y vi otro ángel que subía del nacimiento del sol, teniendo el sello del Dios vivo: y clamó con gran voz á los cuatro ángeles, á los cuales era dado hacer daño á la tierra y á la mar,
3Diciendo: No hagáis daño á la tierra, ni al mar, ni á los árboles, hasta que señalemos á los siervos de nuestro Dios en sus frentes.
4Y oí el número de los señalados: ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil señalados de todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel.
5De la tribu de Judá, doce mil señalados. De la tribu de Rubén, doce mil señalados. De la tribu de Gad, doce mil señalados.
6De la tribu de Aser, doce mil señalados. De la tribu de Neftalí, doce mil señalados. De la tribu de Manasés, doce mil señalados.

9Después de estas cosas miré, y he aquí una gran compañía, la cual ninguno podía contar, de todas gentes y linajes y pueblos y lenguas, que estaban delante del trono y en la presencia del Cordero, vestidos de ropas blancas, y palmas en sus manos;
10Y clamaban en alta voz, diciendo: Salvación á nuestro Dios que está sentado sobre el trono, y al Cordero.
11Y todos los ángeles estaban alrededor del trono, y de los ancianos y los cuatro animales; y postráronse sobre sus rostros delante del trono, y adoraron á Dios,
12Diciendo: Amén: La bendición y la gloria y la sabiduría, y la acción de gracias y la honra y la potencia y la fortaleza, sean á nuestro Dios para siempre jamás. Amén.
13Y respondió uno de los ancianos, diciéndome: Estos que están vestidos de ropas blancas, ¿quiénes son, y de dónde han venido?
14Y yo le dije: Señor, tú lo sabes. Y él me dijo: Estos son los que han venido de grande tribulación, y han lavado sus ropas, y las han blanqueado en la sangre del Cordero.
15Por esto están delante del trono de Dios, y le sirven día y noche en su templo: y el que está sentado en el trono tenderá su pabellón sobre ellos.
16No tendrán más hambre, ni sed, y el sol no caerá más sobre ellos, ni otro ningún calor.
17Porque el Cordero que está en medio del trono los pastoreará, y los guiará á fuentes vivas de aguas: y Dios limpiará toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos.

1And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.

9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

1After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.
2I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,
3saying, “Don’t harm the earth, the sea, or the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!”
4I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:
5of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,
6of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,
7of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand,
8of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, and of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.
9After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
10They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
11All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God,
12saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”
13One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and where did they come from?”
14I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great suffering. They washed their robes and made them white in the Lamb’s blood.
15Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.
16They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun won’t beat on them, nor any heat;
17for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
