Il quale rendette testimonianza alla parola di Dio, e testimonianza di tutto quello, che vide di Gesù Cristo.

Beato chi legge, e chi ascolta le parole di questa profezia: e fa conservi delle cose, che sono in essa scritte imperocché il tempo è vicino.
Bienaventurado el que lee, y los que oyen las palabras de esta profecía, y guardan las cosas en ella escritas: porque el tiempo está cerca.
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Giovanni alle sette Chiese, che sono in Asia. Grazia a voi, e pace da colui, il quale è, il quale era, e il quale è per venire: e dai sette spiriti, i quali sono dinanzi al trono di lui;
Juan á las siete iglesias que están en Asia: Gracia sea con vosotros, y paz del que es y que era y que ha de venir, y de los siete Espíritus que están delante de su trono;
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

E da Gesù Cristo, che è il testimone fedele, primogenito di trai morti, e principe dei Re della terra, il quale ci ha amati, e ci ha lavati da' nostri peccati col proprio sangue,

E ci ha fatti regno, e sacerdoti a Dio Padre suo: a lui gloria, e imperio pe' secoli de' secoli: così sia.
Y nos ha hecho reyes y sacerdotes para Dios y su Padre; á él sea gloria é imperio para siempre jamás. Amén.
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Ecco, che egli viene colle nubi, e vedrallo ogni occhio, anche coloro, che lo trafissero. E batteransi il petto a causa di lui tutte le tribù della terra: così è: così è:
He aquí que viene con las nubes, y todo ojo le verá, y los que le traspasaron; y todos los linajes de la tierra se lamentarán sobre él. Así sea. Amén.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.
Io sono l'alfa, e l'omega, principio, e fine, dice il Signore Iddio, il quale è, il quale era, il quale è per venire, l'onnipotente.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Io Giovanni vostro fratello, e compagno nella tribolazione, e nel regno, e nella pazienza in Gesù Cristo, mi trovai nell'isola, che si chiama Patmos, a causa della parola di Dio, e della testimonianza (renduta) a Gesù:
Yo Juan, vuestro hermano, y participante en la tribulación y en el reino, y en la paciencia de Jesucristo, estaba en la isla que es llamada Patmos, por la palabra de Dios y el testimonio de Jesucristo.
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
I John, your brother and partner with you in the oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Que decía: Yo soy el Alpha y Omega, el primero y el último. Escribe en un libro lo que ves, y envíalo á las siete iglesias que están en Asia; á Efeso, y á Smirna, y á Pérgamo, y á Tiatira, y á Sardis, y á Filadelfia, y á Laodicea.
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

E mi rivolsi per vedere chi parlava meco: e rivolto che fui, vidi sette candellieri d'oro:
Y me volví á ver la voz que hablaba conmigo: y vuelto, vi siete candeleros de oro;
And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

E in mezzo ai sette candellieri d'oro uno simile al Figliuolo dell'uomo, vestito di abito talare e cinto il petto con fascia d'oro:
Y en medio de los siete candeleros, uno semejante al Hijo del hombre, vestido de una ropa que llegaba hasta los pies, y ceñido por los pechos con una cinta de oro.
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
And among the lamp stands was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.
E il capo di lui, ed i capelli eran candidi come la lana bianca, e come la neve, e i suoi occhi come fuoco fiammante,
Y su cabeza y sus cabellos eran blancos como la lana blanca, como la nieve; y sus ojos como llama de fuego;
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

E i piedi di lui simili all'oricalco, qual egli è nella ardente fornace, e la voce di lui come voce di molte acque:
Y sus pies semejantes al latón fino, ardientes como en un horno; y su voz como ruido de muchas aguas.
And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.
Ed aveva nella destra sette stelle: e dalla bocca di lui usciva una spada a due tagli: e la faccia di lui come il sole risplende nella sua forza.
Y tenía en su diestra siete estrellas: y de su boca salía una espada aguda de dos filos. Y su rostro era como el sol cuando resplandece en su fuerza.
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.
E veduto ch'io l'ebbi, caddi a' suoi piedi come morto. Ed ei pose la sua destra mano sopra di me, dicendo: non temere: io sono il primo, e l'ultimo.
Y cuando yo le vi, caí como muerto á sus pies. Y él puso su diestra sobre mí, diciéndome: No temas: yo soy el primero y el último;
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

E vivo, ma fui morto; ed ecco, che sono vivente pei secoli de' secoli, ed ho le chiavi della morte, e dell'inferno.
Y el que vivo, y he sido muerto; y he aquí que vivo por siglos de siglos, Amén. Y tengo las llaves del infierno y de la muerte:
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades.
Scrivi adunque le cose, che hai vedute, e quelle, che sono, e quelle, che debbono accadere dopo di queste.
Escribe las cosas que has visto, y las que son, y las que han de ser después de éstas:
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter.
Il mistero delle sette stelle, le quali hai vedute nella mia destra, e i sette candellieri d'oro: le sette stelle sono i sette Angeli delle Chiese: ed i sette candellieri sono le sette Chiese. E' comandato a Giovanni di scrivere varie cose alle Chiese di Efeso, di Smirne, di Pergamo, e di Tiatira; loda quelli, che non avevano abbracciata la dottrina de' Nicolaiti: altri con minacce invita a penitenza; detesta l'uomo tiepido, e promette il premio a' vincitori.
El misterio de las siete estrellas que has visto en mi diestra, y los siete candeleros de oro. Las siete estrellas son los ángeles de las siete iglesias; y los siete candeleros que has visto, son las siete iglesias.
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lamp stands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven assemblies. The seven lamp stands are seven assemblies.
