Y VINO uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas, y habló conmigo, diciéndome: Ven acá, y te mostraré la condenación de la grande ramera, la cual está sentada sobre muchas aguas:
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

es con ella quienes los reyes de la tierra cometieron inmoralidad sexual. Es con su vino de inmoralidad sexual que los habitantes de la tierra se emborracharon."
Con la cual han fornicado los reyes de la tierra, y los que moran en la tierra se han embriagado con el vino de su fornicación.

Entonces el ángel me cargó en el Espíritu a un desierto y yo vi una mujer sentada en una bestia escarlata llena de nombres blasfemos. La bestia tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos.
Y me llevó en Espíritu al desierto; y vi una mujer sentada sobre una bestia bermeja llena de nombres de blasfemia y que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos.

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

En su frente estaba escrito un nombre teniendo un significado secreto: "BABILONIA LA GRANDE, LA MADRE DE PROSTITUTAS Y DE LAS COSAS DETESTABLES DE LA TIERRA."
Y en su frente un nombre escrito: MISTERIO, BABILONIA LA GRANDE, LA MADRE DE LAS FORNICACIONES Y DE LAS ABOMINACIONES DE LA TIERRA.
And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Yo vi que la mujer estaba borracha con la sangre de los creyentes y con la sangre de los mártires por Jesús. Cuando yo la vi a ella, yo estaba grandemente asombrado.

La bestia que viste existía, no existe ahora, pero está a punto de subir de lo profundo, abismo sin fin. Después irá hacia a la destrucción. Aquellos que viven en la tierra, aquellos los cuales sus nombres no han sido escritos en el Libro de la Vida desde la fundación del mundo -- ellos van a estar asombrados cuando ellos vean la bestia que existía, no existe ahora, pero está por venir.

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present.
Esto llama a una mente que tiene sabiduría. Las siete cabezas son siete colinas en las cuales la mujer está sentada.

Estos son de una mente, y ellos dan su poder y autoridad a la bestia.

El ángel me dijo: "Las aguas que viste, donde la prostituta está sentada, son pueblos, multitudes, naciones y lenguajes.
Y él me dice: Las aguas que has visto donde la ramera se sienta, son pueblos y muchedumbres y naciones y lenguas.
And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.
Los diez cuernos que tú viste - ellos y la bestia odiarán a la prostituta. Ellos la harán desolada y desnuda, ellos devorarán la carne de ella y ellos la quemarán a ella completamente con fuego.
Y los diez cuernos que viste en la bestia, éstos aborrecerán á la ramera, y la harán desolada y desnuda: y comerán sus carnes, y la quemarán con fuego:
And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
The ten horns which you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute, will make her desolate, will strip her naked, will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.
Pues Dios lo ha puesto en sus corazones para llevar a cabo su propósito por acuerdo de darle su poder para gobernar a la bestia hasta que las palabras de Dios sean cumplidas.
Porque Dios ha puesto en sus corazones ejecutar lo que le plugo, y el ponerse de acuerdo, y dar su reino á la bestia, hasta que sean cumplidas las palabras de Dios.
For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

La mujer que viste es la gran ciudad que gobierna sobre los reyes de la tierra."

And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
