1L’Eternel règne, que la terre s’en égaye, et que plusieurs Iles s’en réjouissent.
2La nuée et l’obscurité sont autour de lui ; la justice et le jugement sont la base de son trône.
3Le feu marche devant lui, et embrase tout autour ses adversaires.
4Ses éclairs éclairent le monde habitable, et la terre le voyant en tremble tout étonnée.
5Les montagnes se fondent comme de la cire, à cause de la présence de l’Eternel, à cause de la présence du Seigneur de toute la terre.
6Les cieux annoncent sa justice, et tous les peuples voient sa gloire.
7Que tous ceux qui servent les images, et qui se glorifient aux idoles, soient confus ; vous dieux, prosternez-vous tous devant lui.
8Sion l’a entendu, et s’en est réjouie ; et les filles de Juda se sont égayées pour l’amour de tes jugements, ô Eternel !
9Car tu es l’Eternel, haut élevé sur toute la terre ; tu es fort élevé au-dessus de tous les dieux.
10Vous qui aimez l’Eternel, haïssez le mal ; car il garde les âmes de ses bien-aimés, et les délivre de la main des méchants.
11La lumière est faite pour le juste, et la joie pour ceux qui sont droits de coeur.
12Justes, réjouissez-vous en l’Eternel, et célébrez la mémoire de sa sainteté.

1JEHOVÁ reinó: regocíjese la tierra: alégrense las muchas islas.
2Nube y oscuridad alrededor de él: justicia y juicio son el asiento de su trono.
3Fuego irá delante de él, y abrasará en derredor sus enemigos.
4Sus relámpagos alumbraron el mundo: la tierra vió, y estremecióse.
5Los montes se derritieron como cera delante de Jehová, delante del Señor de toda la tierra.
6Los cielos denunciaron su justicia, y todos los pueblos vieron su gloria.
7Avergüéncense todos los que sirven á las imágenes de talla, los que se alaban de los ídolos: los dioses todos á él se encorven.
8Oyó Sión, y alegróse; y las hijas de Judá, oh Jehová, se gozaron por tus juicios.
9Porque tú, Jehová, eres alto sobre toda la tierra: eres muy ensalzado sobre todos los dioses.
10Los que á Jehová amáis, aborreced el mal: guarda él las almas de sus santos; de mano de los impíos los libra.
11Luz está sembrada para el justo, y alegría para los rectos de corazón.
12Alegraos, justos, en Jehová: y alabad la memoria de su santidad.

1The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
2Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
3A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
4His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
5The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
7Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
8Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.
9For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
10Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

4His lightning lights up the world. The earth sees, and trembles.
5The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his glory.
7Let all them be shamed who serve engraved images, who boast in their idols. Worship him, all you gods!
8Zion heard and was glad. The daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, LORD.
9For you, LORD, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods.
10You who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12Be glad in the LORD, you righteous people! Give thanks to his holy Name.
