Salmos 95

Brenton's English Septuagint

1The praise of a Song by David. - Come, let us exult Gr. unto in the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to God our Saviour.

2Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.

3For the Lord is a great God, and a great king over all gods: Heb. and Alex. omit this clause; See Ps 94:14 for the Lord will not cast off his people.

4For the ends of the earth are in his hands; and the heights of the mountains are his.

5For the sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

6Come, let us worship and fall down before him; and weep before the Lord that made us.

7For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.

8Heb 3:7-12. To-day, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, according to the day of Note, peirasmou is the reading of several editions irritation in the wilderness:

9where your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works.

10Forty years was I grieved with this generation, and said, They do always err in their heart, and they have not known my ways.

11So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.

Reina-Valera 1909

8No endurezcáis vuestro corazón como en Meriba, como el día de Masa en el desierto;

9Donde me tentaron vuestros padres, probáronme, y vieron mi obra.

10Cuarenta años estuve disgustado con la nación, y dije: Pueblo es que divaga de corazón, y no han conocido mis caminos.

11Por tanto juré en mi furor que no entrarían en mi reposo.

King James Version

1O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

3For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

4In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

5The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

6O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

7For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

8Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

10Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

11Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

World English Bible

1Oh come, let’s sing to the LORD. Let’s shout aloud to the rock of our salvation!

2Let’s come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let’s extol him with songs!

3For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods.

4In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his.

5The sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land.

6Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before the LORD, our Maker,

7for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would hear his voice!

8Don’t harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

9when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.

10Forty long years I was grieved with that generation, and said, “They are a people who err in their heart. They have not known my ways.”

11Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They won’t enter into my rest.”
