O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
LORD, you God to whom vengeance belongs, you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine out.
Levantate, juzga la tierra, da a los orgullosos lo que ellos merecen.
Ensálzate, oh Juez de la tierra: da el pago á los soberbios.
Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve.
¿Cúanto tiempo el malvado, Señor, cúanto tiempo el malvado se regocijará?
¿Hasta cuándo los impíos, hasta cuándo, oh Jehová, se gozarán los impíos?
LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

Ellos han derramado palabras arrogantes; todas aquellos que hacen alarde del mal.
¿Hasta cuándo pronunciarán, hablarán cosas duras, y se vanagloriarán todos los que obran iniquidad?
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.
Ellos aplastaron a tu gente, Señor'; ellos afligieron a la nación que te pertenece a tí.
A tu pueblo, oh Jehová, quebrantan, y á tu heredad afligen.
They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
They break your people in pieces, LORD, and afflict your heritage.
Ellos matan a la viuda y al extranjero que vive en su país, y ellos matan al huérfano.
A la viuda y al extanjero matan, y á los huérfanos quitan la vida.
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
They kill the widow and the alien, and murder the fatherless.
Ellos dicen, "El Señor no verá, el Dios de Jacob no se dará cuenta de ello."
Y dijeron: No verá JAH, ni entenderá el Dios de Jacob.
Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
They say, “The LORD will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”
¡Entienden, ustedes gente estupida! ¿Ustedes tontos, cuándo ustedes van a aprender?
Entended, necios del pueblo; y vosotros fatuos, ¿cuándo seréis sabios?
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?
El que hizo el oído, ¿no oirá? El que formó el ojo, ¿no verá?
El que plantó el oído, ¿no oirá? el que formó el ojo, ¿no verá?
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?
El que discipula las naciones, ¿no correjirá? El es el que da el conocimiento al hombre.
El que castiga las gentes, ¿no reprenderá? ¿no sabrá el que enseña al hombre la ciencia?
He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows.
El Señor conoce los pensamientos del hombre, que ellos son vapor.
Jehová conoce los pensamientos de los hombres, que son vanidad.
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
Bendito es aquel a quien tú instruyes, Señor, aquel a quien tú enseñas de tu ley.
Bienaventurado el hombre á quien tú, JAH, castigares, y en tu ley lo instruyeres;
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
Blessed is the man whom you discipline, LORD, and teach out of your law,
Tú le darás a él descanso en tiempos de problemas hasta que se cave un foso para los impíos.
Para tranquilizarle en los días de aflicción, en tanto que para el impío se cava el hoyo.
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
that you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked.
Por que no abandonará el Señor a su gente o abandonará su herencia.
Porque no dejará Jehová su pueblo, ni desamparará su heredad;
For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Por que el juicio volverá a ser justo; y todos los rectos de corazón le seguirán.
Sino que el juicio será vuelto á justicia, y en pos de ella irán todos los rectos de corazón.
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

¿Quién se levantará para defenderme de los malignos? ¿Quién se levantará por mi contra los malvados?
¿Quién se levantará por mí contra los malignos? ¿quién estará por mí contra los que obran iniquidad?
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

A menos que el Señor hubiera sido mi ayuda, yo estaría descanzando en el lugar del silencio.
Si no me ayudara Jehová, presto morara mi alma en el silencio.
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

Cuando yo diga, "mi pie esta resbalando'', Señor, sosténme, Tu pacto de fidelidad, Señor, me sostiene.
Cuando yo decía: Mi pie resbala: tu misericordia, oh Jehová, me sustentaba.
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
When I said, “My foot is slipping!” Your loving kindness, LORD, held me up.
Cuando tus cuidados para conmigo son muchos, tus consolaciones me hacen feliz.
En la multitud de mis pensamientos dentro de mí, tus consolaciones alegraban mi alma.

¿Puede un trono de destrucción estar aliado contigo, aquel que crea injusticia por ley?
¿Juntaráse contigo el trono de iniquidades, que forma agravio en el mandamiento?
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, which brings about mischief by statute?
Ellos conspiran juntos para tomar la vida del recto y ellos condenan al inocente a muerte.
Pónense en corros contra la vida del justo, y condenan la sangre inocente.
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

El traerá sobre ellos su propia iniquidad y los cortará de su propia maldad. El Señor nuestro Dios los cortará.
