1DER Herr ward König! mit Hoheit hat er sich umkleidet, / hat sich umkleidet der Herr, mit Macht sich umgürtet. / Fest steht der Erdkreis und wankt nicht. /

2Fest steht dein Thron von Anbeginn; / von Ewigkeit her bist du. / (a) Ps 9:8

3Einst erhoben die Fluten, o Herr, / erhoben die Fluten ihre Stimme - / wieder erheben die Fluten ihr Tosen. /

4Hehrer als das Brausen grosser Wasser, / hehrer als die Brandung des Meeres, / hehr ist der Herr in der Höhe. /

5Fest und verlässlich ist, was du bezeugt; / deinem Hause gebührt heilige Scheu, / o Herr, auf ewige Zeiten.

1JEHOVÁ reina, vistióse de magnificencia, vistióse Jehová, ciñóse de fortaleza; afirmó también el mundo, que no se moverá.

2Firme es tu trono desde entonces: tú eres eternalmente.

3Alzaron los ríos, oh Jehová, alzaron los ríos su sonido; alzaron los ríos sus ondas.

4Jehová en las alturas es más poderoso que el estruendo de las muchas aguas, más que las recias ondas de la mar.

5Tus testimonios son muy firmes: la santidad conviene á tu casa, oh Jehová, por los siglos y para siempre.

1The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

2Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

3The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

4The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

5Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
