1¡Oh Dios vengador, Yahvé, Dios de las venganzas, muéstrate!

2Levántate, glorioso, oh Juez del mundo; da a los soberbios lo que merecen.

3¿Hasta cuándo los malvados, Yahvé? ¿Hasta cuándo los malvados triunfarán,

4proferirán necedades con lenguaje arrogante, se jactarán todos de sus obras inicuas?

5Oprimen a tu pueblo, Yahvé, y devastan tu heredad;

6asesinan a la viuda y al extranjero, y matan a los huérfanos.

7Y dicen: “El Señor no lo ve, el Dios de Jacob nada sabe.”

8Entendedlo, oh necios entre todos; insensatos, sabedlo al fin:

9Aquel que plantó el oído ¿no oirá Él mismo? Y el que formó el ojo ¿no verá?

10El que castiga a las naciones ¿no ha de pedir cuentas? Aquel que enseña al hombre ¿(no tendrá) conocimiento?

11Yahvé conoce los pensamientos de los hombres: ¡son una cosa vana!

12Dichoso el hombre a quien Tú educas, oh Yah, el que Tú instruyes mediante tu Ley,

13para darle tranquilidad en los días aciagos, hasta que se cave la fosa para el inicuo.

14Puesto que Yahvé no desechará a su pueblo, ni desamparará su heredad,

15sino que volverá a imperar la justicia, y la seguirán todos los rectos de corazón.

16¿Quién se levantará en mi favor contra los malhechores? ¿Quién se juntará conmigo para oponerse a los malvados?

17Si Yahvé no estuviese para ayudarme, ya el silencio sería mi morada.

18Cuando pienso: “Mi pie va a resbalar”, tu misericordia, Yahvé, me sostiene.

19Cuando las ansiedades se multiplican en mi corazón, tus consuelos deleitan mi alma.

20¿Podrá tener comunidad contigo la sede de la iniquidad, que forja tiranía bajo apariencia legal?

21Asalten ellos el alma del justo, y condenen la sangre inocente;

22mas Yahvé será para mí una fortaleza, y el Dios mío la roca de mi refugio.

23Él hará que su perversidad caiga sobre ellos mismos; y con su propia malicia los destruirá, los exterminará Yahvé, nuestro Dios.

1JEHOVÁ reina, vistióse de magnificencia, vistióse Jehová, ciñóse de fortaleza; afirmó también el mundo, que no se moverá.

2Firme es tu trono desde entonces: tú eres eternalmente.

3Alzaron los ríos, oh Jehová, alzaron los ríos su sonido; alzaron los ríos sus ondas.

4Jehová en las alturas es más poderoso que el estruendo de las muchas aguas, más que las recias ondas de la mar.

5Tus testimonios son muy firmes: la santidad conviene á tu casa, oh Jehová, por los siglos y para siempre.

1The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

2Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

3The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

4The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

5Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
