1L'Eternel règne ; il s'est revêtu de majesté, L'Eternel s'est revêtu, il s'est ceint de force : Aussi la terre est-elle affermie, elle ne chancellera pas.

2Ferme est ton trône dès longtemps, De toute éternité tu es !

3Les fleuves ont élevé, ô Eternel ! Les fleuves ont élevé leur voix ; Les fleuves élèvent le bruit de leurs flots.

4Plus que la voix des grandes, des puissantes eaux, Que le choc des vagues de la mer, L'Eternel est puissant dans les lieux très-hauts.

5Tes témoignages sont la vérité même ; La sainteté sied à ta maison, O Eternel, pour toute la durée des temps.

1JEHOVÁ reina, vistióse de magnificencia, vistióse Jehová, ciñóse de fortaleza; afirmó también el mundo, que no se moverá.

2Firme es tu trono desde entonces: tú eres eternalmente.

3Alzaron los ríos, oh Jehová, alzaron los ríos su sonido; alzaron los ríos sus ondas.

4Jehová en las alturas es más poderoso que el estruendo de las muchas aguas, más que las recias ondas de la mar.

5Tus testimonios son muy firmes: la santidad conviene á tu casa, oh Jehová, por los siglos y para siempre.

1The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

2Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

3The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

4The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

5Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
