Nova Bíblia Viva
1Ó Senhor, Senhor nosso, a majestade e a glória do seu nome enchem toda a terra. O Senhor colocou a sua glória sobre os céus.
2O Senhor usa as criancinhas e os recém-nascidos para mostrar aos seus inimigos como é grande o seu poder. Assim, o Senhor calou os inimigos que buscam a vingança.
3Quando, admirado, olho os céus que o Senhor criou com as suas mãos, a lua e as estrelas que lançou no espaço,
4pergunto: Afinal, por que Deus dá tanta atenção ao homem? Quem é o filho do homem para que o visite?
5No entanto, o Senhor o fez apenas um pouco menor do que Deus. O Senhor o coroou de grande glória e de honra!
6O Senhor deu ao homem o domínio sobre toda a criação, autoridade sobre todas as criaturas;
7sobre o gado e as ovelhas e até os animais do campo e da floresta,
8sobre as aves no céu e os peixes do mar, e tudo que vive nos mares.
9Ó Senhor, Senhor nosso, a majestade e a glória do seu nome enchem toda a terra!

2De la boca de los chiquitos y de los que maman, fundaste la fortaleza, á causa de tus enemigos, para hacer cesar al enemigo, y al que se venga.
3Cuando veo tus cielos, obra de tus dedos, la luna y las estrellas que tú formaste:
4Digo: ¿Qué es el hombre, para que tengas de él memoria, y el hijo del hombre, que lo visites?
5Pues le has hecho poco menor que los ángeles, y coronástelo de gloria y de lustre.
6Hicístelo enseñorear de las obras de tus manos; todo lo pusiste debajo de sus pies:
7Ovejas, y bueyes, todo ello; y asimismo las bestias del campo;
8Las aves de los cielos, y los peces de la mar; todo cuanto pasa por los senderos de la mar.
9Oh Jehová, Señor nuestro, ¡cuán grande es tu nombre en toda la tierra!

1O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

1LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens!
2From the lips of babes and infants you have established strength, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.
3When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained,
4what is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him?
5For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and crowned him with glory and honor.
6You make him ruler over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet:
7All sheep and cattle, yes, and the animals of the field,
8the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
9LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
