For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.”

For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?
For who in the skies can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like the LORD,
un Dieu terrible dans la grande assemblée des saints, redoutable pour tous ceux qui l'entourent ?
Dios terrible en la grande congregación de los santos, y formidable sobre todos cuantos están alrededor suyo.
God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
LORD, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? LORD, your faithfulness is around you.
Tu domines l'orgueil de la mer. Quand ses vagues se soulèvent, tu les apaises.

Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

Les cieux sont à toi. La terre aussi est à toi, le monde et tout ce qu'il contient. C'est toi qui les as fondés.

The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.
La justice et l'équité sont le fondement de ton trône. L'amour fidèle et la vérité marchent devant ta face.
Justicia y juicio son el asiento de tu trono: misericordia y verdad van delante de tu rostro.
Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, LORD.
Ils se réjouissent en ton nom tout le jour. Par ta justice, ils sont exaltés.
En tu nombre se alegrarán todo el día; y en tu justicia serán ensalzados.
In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

Car tu es la gloire de leur puissance. C'est par ta faveur que notre corne est exaltée.

For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said, “I have given strength to the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.

Ma main le soutiendra fermement. Mon bras aussi le fortifiera.

With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

L'ennemi ne le surprendra pas. L'homme inique ne l'opprimera pas.
No lo avasallará enemigo, ni hijo de iniquidad lo quebrantará.
The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

J'écraserai ses adversaires devant lui, et je frapperai ceux qui le haïssent.

Ma fidélité et mon amour fidèle seront avec lui. En mon nom, sa corne sera exaltée.

My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

Si ses fils abandonnent ma loi, et s'ils ne marchent pas selon mes ordonnances ;
Si dejaren sus hijos mi ley, y no anduvieren en mis juicios;
If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

s'ils profanent mes statuts, et s'ils ne gardent pas mes commandements ;
Si profanaren mis estatutos, y no guardaren mis mandamientos;
If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

alors je punirai leur transgression avec la verge, et leur iniquité par des coups.
Entonces visitaré con vara su rebelión, y con azotes sus iniquidades.
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

Mais je ne lui retirerai pas totalement mon amour fidèle, et je ne fausserai pas ma fidélité.

Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

Tous les passants le dépouillent. Il est devenu un sujet d'opprobre pour ses voisins.

All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
