2Yahvé, Dios de mi salud, día y noche clamo en tu presencia.
3Llegue hasta Ti mi oración, inclina tu oído a mi clamor.
4Pues mi alma está saciada de males, y mi vida al borde del sepulcro.
5Me cuentan entre los que bajan a la tumba; he venido a ser como un hombre inválido,
6abandonado a su propia suerte como los muertos; como las víctimas que yacen en el sepulcro, de quienes ya no te acuerdas, y que no son más objeto de tu cuidado.
7Me has puesto en una profunda fosa, en tinieblas, en el abismo.
8Sobre mí pesa tu indignación, y con todas tus olas me estás ahogando.
9Has alejado de mí a los amigos, me has hecho objeto de abominación para ellos; me encuentro encerrado, sin poder salir.
10Mis ojos flaquean de miseria; clamo a Ti, Yahvé, todo el día, hacia Ti extiendo mis manos.
11¿Es que para los muertos haces tus maravillas, o se levantan los difuntos para alabarte?
12¿Acaso en las sepulturas se proclama tu bondad, en la tierra de los muertos tu fidelidad?
13¿Se harán tus prodigios manifiestos en las tinieblas, y tu gracia en la tierra del olvido?
14Yo en cambio, Yahvé, te expreso mi clamor, y desde temprano te llega mi ruego.
15¿Por qué, Yahvé, rechazas mi alma y escondes de mí tu faz?
16Soy miserable, y vivo muriendo desde niño; soporté tus terrores y ya no puedo más;
17tus iras pasaron sobre mí, y tus espantos me han anonadado.
18Me rodean como agua todo el día, me cercan todos juntos.
19Has alejado de mí al amigo y al compañero, y mis familiares son las tinieblas.

2Ama Jehová las puertas de Sión más que todas las moradas de Jacob.
3Cosas ilustres son dichas de ti, ciudad de Dios. (Selah.)
4Yo me acordaré de Rahab y de Babilonia entre los que me conocen: he aquí Palestina, y Tiro, con Etiopía: éste nació allá.
5Y de Sión se dirá: Este y aquél han nacido en ella; y fortificarála el mismo Altísimo.
6Jehová contará cuando se escribieren los pueblos: Este nació allí. (Selah.)
7Y cantores y tañedores en ella dirán: Todas mis fuentes estarán en ti.

2The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
4I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
5And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
6The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
7As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
