1der du vormals hast all deinen Zorn aufgehoben und dich gewendet von dem Grimm deines Zorns;
2tröste uns, Gott, unser Heiland, und laß ab von deiner Ungnade über uns!
3Willst du denn ewiglich über uns zürnen und deinen Zorn gehen lassen immer für und für?
4Willst du uns denn nicht wieder erquicken, daß sich dein Volk über dir freuen möge?
5HERR, erzeige uns deine Gnade und hilf uns!
6Ach, daß ich hören sollte, das Gott der HERR redet, daß er Frieden zusagte seinem Volk und seinen Heiligen, auf daß sie nicht auf eine Torheit geraten!
7Doch ist ja seine Hilfe nahe denen, die ihn fürchten, daß in unserm Lande Ehre wohne;
8daß Güte und Treue einander begegnen, Gerechtigkeit und Friede sich küssen;
9daß Treue auf der Erde wachse, und Gerechtigkeit vom Himmel schaue;
10daß uns auch der HERR Gutes tue, damit unser Land sein Gewächs gebe;
11Ein Gebet Davids. HERR, neige deine Ohren und erhöre mich; denn ich bin elend und arm.
12Bewahre meine Seele; denn ich bin heilig. Hilf du, mein Gott, deinem Knechte, der sich verläßt auf dich!
13HERR, sei mir gnädig; denn ich rufe täglich zu dir.

2Perdonaste la iniquidad de tu pueblo; todos los pecados de ellos cubriste. (Selah.)
3Dejaste toda tu saña: te volviste de la ira de tu furor.
4Vuélvenos, oh Dios, salud nuestra, y haz cesar tu ira de sobre nosotros.
5¿Estarás enojado contra nosotros para siempre? ¿extenderás tu ira de generación en generación?
6¿No volverás tú á darnos vida, y tu pueblo se alegrará en ti?
7Muéstranos, oh Jehová, tu misericordia, y danos tu salud.
8Escucharé lo que hablará el Dios Jehová: porque hablará paz á su pueblo y á sus santos, para que no se conviertan á la locura.
9Ciertamente cercana está su salud á los que le temen; para que habite la gloria en nuestra tierra.
10La misericordia y la verdad se encontraron: la justicia y la paz se besaron.
11La verdad brotará de la tierra; y la justicia mirará desde los cielos.
12Jehová dará también el bien; y nuestra tierra dará su fruto.
13La justicia irá delante de él; y sus pasos pondrá en camino.

1LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
4Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
5Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
8I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

1LORD, you have been favorable to your land. You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.
2You have forgiven the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sin. Selah.
3You have taken away all your wrath. You have turned from the fierceness of your anger.
4Turn us, God of our salvation, and cause your indignation toward us to cease.
5Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?
6Won’t you revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
7Show us your loving kindness, LORD. Grant us your salvation.
8I will hear what God, the LORD, will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, his saints; but let them not turn again to folly.
9Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.
10Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11Truth springs out of the earth. Righteousness has looked down from heaven.
