Salmo de Asaph. DIOS está en la reunión de los dioses; en medio de los dioses juzga.
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.
Oh Dios, no permanezcas mudo; no estés sordo, oh Dios, ni te muestres pasivo.
¿Hasta cuándo juzgaréis injustamente, y aceptaréis las personas de los impíos? (Selah.)
How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.
Mira el tumulto que hacen tus enemigos, y cómo los que te odian yerguen su cabeza.
Defended al pobre y al huérfano: haced justicia al afligido y al menesteroso.
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
A tu pueblo le traman asechanzas; se confabulan contra los que Tú proteges.
Librad al afligido y al necesitado: libradlo de mano de los impíos.
Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”
“Venid (dicen), borrémoslos; que ya no sean pueblo; no quede ni memoria del nombre de Israel.”
No saben, no entienden, andan en tinieblas: vacilan todos los cimientos de la tierra.
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
Así conspiran todos a una y forman liga contra Ti:
Yo dije: Vosotros sois dioses, é hijos todos vosotros del Altísimo.
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

las tiendas de Edom y los ismaelitas, Moab y los agarenos,
Empero como hombres moriréis, y caeréis como cualquiera de los tiranos.
But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Levántate, oh Dios, juzga la tierra: porque tú heredarás en todas las gentes.

También los asirios se les han unido, y se han hecho auxiliares de los hijos de Lot.
