Salmos 82

Cantico, o salmo di Asaph. Chi a te sarà simile, o Dio? non istar cheto, e non rattenerti:

Salmo de Asaph. DIOS está en la reunión de los dioses; en medio de los dioses juzga.

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.

Imperocché ecco, che gran romore menano i tuoi nemici; e quei, che ti odiano hanno alzata la testa.

¿Hasta cuándo juzgaréis injustamente, y aceptaréis las personas de los impíos? (Selah.)

How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.

Han formato de' malvagi disegni contro il tuo popolo; e han macchinato contro de' santi tuoi.

Defended al pobre y al huérfano: haced justicia al afligido y al menesteroso.

Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

Hanno detto: Venite, leviamoli dall'essere di nazione; e non si rammenti mai più il nome d'Israele.

Librad al afligido y al necesitado: libradlo de mano de los impíos.

Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”

Imperocché hanno fatta cospirazione: hanno formata alleanza insieme contro di te i padiglioni degli Idumei, e gli Ismaeliti;

No saben, no entienden, andan en tinieblas: vacilan todos los cimientos de la tierra.

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

Moab, e gli Agareni, Gebal, e Ammon, e Amalec, gli stranieri cogli abitanti di Tiro.

Yo dije: Vosotros sois dioses, é hijos todos vosotros del Altísimo.

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

Con essi è venuto anche l'Assiro: ha dato aiuto a' figliuoli di Loth.

Empero como hombres moriréis, y caeréis como cualquiera de los tiranos.

But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”

Fa ad essi come a Madianiti, e a Sisara, e come a Jabin al torrente di Cisson.

Levántate, oh Dios, juzga la tierra: porque tú heredarás en todas las gentes.

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.

Eglino perirono in Endor: diventarono come lo sterco della terra.

Tratta i loro principi come Oreb, Zeb, e Zebee, e Salmana.

Tutti i loro principi, i quali hanno detto: Occupiamo come nostra eredità il santuario di Dio.

Dio mio, fa che siano come ruota, e come paglia al soffiare del vento.

Come fuoco, che incendia la selva, e come fiamma, che arde i monti;

—

Così tu col tuo spirito tempestoso li assalirai, e coll'ira tua li porrai in confusione.

Cuopri d'ignominia i loro volti, e cercheranno il nome tuo, o Signore.

—

Abbian vergogna, e turbamento per sempre, e siano confusi, e periscano.

—

—

E conoscano, che tu ti nomi il Signore: tu solo Altissimo sopra tutta la terra. Sospira nel suo esilio di rivedere il tabernacolo del Signore, per rendere a Dio il religioso suo culto. Esprime molto bene i sentimenti di un'anima, che desidera di essere con Cristo.
