Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.
Soplen el cuerno del macho cabrío en el día de la luna nueva, en el día de la luna llena, cuando comienza nuestro día de fiesta.
Tocad la trompeta en la nueva luna, en el día señalado, en el día de nuestra solemnidad.
Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Pues es un estatuto para Israel, un decreto dado por el Dios de Jacob.
Porque estatuto es de Israel, ordenanza del Dios de Jacob.

Él la emitió como regla en José cuando Él fue en contra de la tierra de Egipto, donde yo oí una voz que yo no reconocí:

This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

Escucha, pueblo Mío, pues Yo te advertiré, Israel, ¡si solamente me escucharas!
Oye, pueblo mío, y te protestaré. Israel, si me oyeres,
Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
“Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!
No puede haber ningún dios extranjero entre ustedes; no pueden adorar a ningún dios extranjero.
No habrá en ti dios ajeno, ni te encorvarás á dios extraño.
There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.
Yo soy el SEÑOR tu Dios, quien te sacó de la tierra de Egipto. Abre tu boca bien grande y Yo la llenaré.

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Pero Mi pueblo no escuchó Mis palabras; Israel no Me obedeció.
Mas mi pueblo no oyó mi voz, é Israel no me quiso á mí.
But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.
Asi que Yo los entregué a su propio camino de terquedad para que pudieran hacer lo que les parecía bien a ellos.
Dejélos por tanto á la dureza de su corazón: caminaron en sus consejos.
So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.

Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

Entonces Yo rápidamente dominaría a sus enemigos y volvería Mi mano en contra de sus opresores.
En una nada habría yo derribado sus enemigos, y vuelto mi mano sobre sus adversarios.
I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

¡Que aquellos que odian al SEÑOR se encojan de miedo delante de Él! Que sean humillados para siempre.
Los aborrecedores de Jehová se le hubieran sometido; y el tiempo de ellos fuera para siempre.
The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.
The haters of the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.
