Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

“Höre, mein Volk, damit ich dich vermahne, Israel, möchtest du auf mich hören!
No habrá en ti dios ajeno, ni te encorvarás á dios extraño.
There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.
“Es soll unter dir kein anderer Gott sein, einen fremden Gott darfst du nicht anbeten.
Yo soy Jehová tu Dios, que te hice subir de la tierra de Egipto: ensancha tu boca, y henchirla he.
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

“Ich, Jahwe, bin dein Gott, der dich aus Ägypten hergeführt hat: thue deinen Mund weit auf, damit ich ihn fülle!
Mas mi pueblo no oyó mi voz, é Israel no me quiso á mí.
But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.
“Aber mein Volk hörte nicht auf meine Stimme, und Israel hat mir nicht willfahrt.
Dejélos por tanto á la dureza de su corazón: caminaron en sus consejos.
So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.
“Da überließ ich sie der Verstocktheit ihres Herzens; sie wandelten nach ihren eigenen Anschlägen.
¡Oh, si me hubiera oído mi pueblo, si en mis caminos hubiera Israel andado!
Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
“O daß doch mein Volk auf mich hören, Israel auf meinen Wegen wandeln wollte!
En una nada habría yo derribado sus enemigos, y vuelto mi mano sobre sus adversarios.
I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

“Wie leicht wollte ich ihre Feinde demütigen und meine Hand gegen ihre Dränger wenden.
Los aborrecedores de Jehová se le hubieran sometido; y el tiempo de ellos fuera para siempre.
The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.
The haters of the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.
“Die Jahwe hassen, müßten ihm schmeicheln, und ihre Zeit sollte ewig währen.
Y Dios lo hubiera mantenido de grosura de trigo: y de miel de la piedra te hubiera saciado.
He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock.”
