1A Psalm of David, which he sang to the Lord because of the words of Cush, the son of Jemini.
2O Lord, my God, in you I have hoped. Save me from all those who persecute me, and free me:
3lest at any time, like a lion, he might seize my soul, while there is no one to redeem me, nor any who can save.
4O Lord, my God, if there is iniquity in my hands, if I have done this:
5if I have repaid those who rendered evils to me, may I deservedly fall away empty before my enemies:
6let the enemy pursue my soul, and take hold of it, and trample my life into the earth, and drag down my glory into the dust. Pause
7Rise up, Lord, in your anger. And be exalted to the borders of my enemies. And rise up, O Lord my God, according to the precept that you commanded,
8and a congregation of people will surround you. And, because of this, return on high.
9The Lord judges the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice and according to my innocence within me.
10The wickedness of sinners will be consumed, and you will direct the just: the examiner of hearts and temperaments is God.
11Just is my help from the Lord, who saves the upright of heart.
12God is a just judge, strong and patient. How could he be angry throughout every day?
13Unless you will be converted, he will brandish his sword. He has extended his bow and made it ready.
14And with it, he has prepared instruments of death. He has produced his arrows for those on fire.
15Behold him who has given birth to injustice: he has conceived sorrow and has begotten iniquity.
16He has opened a pit and enlarged it. And he has fallen into the hole that he made.
17His sorrow will be turned upon his own head, and his iniquity will descend upon his highest point.
18I will confess to the Lord according to his justice, and I will sing a psalm to the name of the Lord Most High.

1Sigaión de David, que cantó á Jehová sobre las palabras de Cus, hijo de Benjamín. JEHOVÁ Dios mío, en ti he confiado: sálvame de todos los que me persiguen, y líbrame;
2No sea que arrebate mi alma, cual león que despedaza, sin que haya quien libre.
3Jehová Dios mío, si yo he hecho esto, si hay en mis manos iniquidad;
4Si dí mal pago al pacífico conmigo, (hasta he libertado al que sin causa era mi enemigo;)
5Persiga el enemigo mi alma, y alcáncela; y pise en tierra mi vida, y mi honra ponga en el polvo. (Selah.)
6Levántate, oh Jehová, con tu furor; álzate á causa de las iras de mis angustiadores, y despierta en favor mío el juicio que mandaste.
7Y te rodeará concurso de pueblo; por cuyo amor vuélvete luego á levantar en alto.
8Jehová juzgará los pueblos: júzgame, oh Jehová, conforme á mi justicia y conforme á mi integridad.
9Consúmase ahora la malicia de los inicuos, y establece al justo; pues el Dios justo prueba los corazones y los riñones.
10Mi escudo está en Dios, que salva á los rectos de corazón.
11Dios es el que juzga al justo: y Dios está airado todos los días contra el impío.
12Si no se convirtiere, él afilará su espada: armado tiene ya su arco, y lo ha preparado.
13Asimismo ha aparejado para él armas de muerte; ha labrado sus saetas para los que persiguen.
14He aquí ha tenido parto de iniquidad: concibió trabajo, y parió mentira.
15Pozo ha cavado, y ahondádolo; y en la fosa que hizo caerá.
16Su trabajo se tornará sobre su cabeza, y su agravio descenderá sobre su mollera.
17Alabaré yo á Jehová conforme á su justicia, y cantaré al nombre de Jehová el Altísimo.

1O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
2Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
5Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
6Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
7So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
8The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
10My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
11God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
12If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
13He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
14Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
17I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

1LORD, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,
2lest they tear apart my soul like a lion, ripping it in pieces, while there is no one to deliver.
3LORD, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands,
4if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (yes, I have plundered him who without cause was my adversary),
5let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; yes, let him tread my life down to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah.
6Arise, LORD, in your anger. Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries. Awake for me. You have commanded judgment.
7Let the congregation of the peoples surround you. Rule over them on high.
8The LORD administers judgment to the peoples. Judge me, LORD, according to my righteousness, and to my integrity that is in me.
9Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.
10My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
11God is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day.
12If a man doesn’t repent, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent and strung his bow.
13He has also prepared for himself the instruments of death. He makes ready his flaming arrows.
14Behold, he travails with iniquity. Yes, he has conceived mischief, and brought out falsehood.
15He has dug a hole, and has fallen into the pit which he made.
16The trouble he causes shall return to his own head. His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.
17I will give thanks to the LORD according to his righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
