1Auf den Siegesspender, mit Zithern, ein Lied, von Asaph, ein Gesang.
2Berühmt ist Juda Gottes wegen,und wegen Israels ist groß sein Name.
3Zu Salem sein Gezelt,in Sion seine Thronstadt!
4Des Bogens Blitze ließ er hier zusammenbrechen,Schild, Schwert und andere Kriegerwaffen. (Sela.)
5Du bist so herrlich und so schrecklichauf zweigbedeckten Bergen.
6Zur Beute fielen Mutige, als ob sie schliefen,und all die tapferen Krieger fanden keine Kräfte mehr.
7Vor Deinem Drohen, Jakobs Gott,da werden die zu Wagen und zu Roß betäubt.
8Du bist so furchtbar, Du.Zürnst Du, wer kann vor Dir bestehen?
9Vom Himmel lässest Du Vergeltung künden;die Erde staunt und schweigt,
10wenn Du Dich zum Gericht erhebst, o Gott,zu helfen allen Duldern in dem Lande. (Sela.)
11Dich preist der Menschen Menge;der Massen Rest hüllt sich in Bußgewänder. -
12Gelobet nur und löst es ein, dem Herren, eurem Gott!Wer immer um ihn ist,soll Gaben ihm, dem Furchtbaren, darbringen. Er bricht der Fürsten Übermut,und fürchterlich ist er den Königen der Erde.

4Ilustre eres tú; fuerte, más que los montes de caza.
5Los fuertes de corazón fueron despojados, durmieron su sueño; y nada hallaron en sus manos todos los varones fuertes.
6A tu reprensión, oh Dios de Jacob, el carro y el caballo fueron entorpecidos.
7Tú, terrible eres tú: ¿y quién parará delante de ti, en comenzando tu ira?
8Desde los cielos hiciste oir juicio; la tierra tuvo temor y quedó suspensa,
9Cuando te levantaste, oh Dios, al juicio, para salvar á todos los mansos de la tierra. (Selah.)
10Ciertamente la ira del hombre te acarreará alabanza: tú reprimirás el resto de las iras.
11Prometed, y pagad á Jehová vuestro Dios: todos los que están alrededor de él, traigan presentes al Terrible.
12Cortará él el espíritu de los príncipes: terrible es á los reyes de la tierra.

1In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
2In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
3There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
4Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
5The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
6At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
7Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
8Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
9When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
10Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
11Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
12He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

1In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel.
2His tabernacle is also in Salem. His dwelling place in Zion.
3There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah.
4Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.
5Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.
6At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
7You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?
8You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,
9when God arose to judgment, to save all the afflicted ones of the earth. Selah.
10Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.
11Make vows to the LORD your God, and fulfill them! Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.
12He will cut off the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.
