1EIN Psalm Asaphs, ein Lied.
2Wir preisen dich, o Gott, wir preisen dich, / und die deinen Namen anrufen, / erzählen von deinen Wundern. /
3"Wenn ich mir gleich eine Frist nehme - / ich halte doch gerechtes Gericht. /
4Ob auch die Erde wankt und alle, die darauf wohnen - / ich selbst habe festgestellt ihre Säulen." /
5Ich spreche zu den Rasenden: Raset nicht! / und zu den Gottlosen: Erhebt nicht das Horn! / (1) vgl. Anm. zu 1Sa 2:1.
6Erhebt nicht gegen den Himmel euer Horn, / redet nicht vermessen wider unsern Fels! / (1) vgl. Anm. zu 1Sa 2:1. (a) Ps 94:4
7Denn weder vom Aufgang noch vom Niedergang / noch von der Wüste her kommt Erhöhung; /
8sondern Gott ist der Richter: / den einen erniedrigt, den andern erhöht er. / (a) 1Sa 2:7
9Denn ein Kelch ist in der Hand des Herrn / mit schäumendem Wein, stark gewürztem; / und er schenkt ein der Reihe nach, / auch seine Hefe müssen schlürfen, / müssen trinken alle Gottlosen der Erde. / (a) Ps 60:5; Jer 25:15-26

1Al Músico principal: sobre No destruyas: Salmo de Asaph: Cántico. ALABARÉMOSTE, oh Dios, alabaremos; que cercano está tu nombre: cuenten tus maravillas.
2Cuando yo tuviere tiempo, yo juzgaré rectamente.
3Arruinábase la tierra y sus moradores: yo sostengo sus columnas. (Selah.)
4Dije á los insensatos: No os infatuéis; y á los impíos: No levantéis el cuerno:
5No levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno; no habléis con cerviz erguida.
6Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, ni del desierto viene el ensalzamiento.
7Mas Dios es el juez: á éste abate, y á aquél ensalza.
8Porque el cáliz está en la mano de Jehová, y el vino es tinto, lleno de mistura; y él derrama del mismo: ciertamente sus heces chuparán y beberán todos los impíos de la tierra.
9Mas yo anunciaré siempre, cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.
10Y quebraré todos los cuernos de los pecadores: los cuernos del justo serán ensalzados.

1Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
2When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
3The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
4I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
5Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
6For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
8For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
9But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
World English Bible
1We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
2When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
3The earth and all its inhabitants quake. I firmly hold its pillars. Selah.
4I said to the arrogant, “Don’t boast!” I said to the wicked, “Don’t lift up the horn.
5Don’t lift up your horn on high. Don’t speak with a stiff neck.”
6For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
7But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another.
8For in the LORD’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
9But I will declare this forever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
