Dije á los insensatos: No os infatuéis; y á los impíos: No levantéis el cuerno:
I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
I said to the arrogant, “Don’t boast!” I said to the wicked, “Don’t lift up the horn.
N'élevez pas si haut votre tête. Ne parlez pas avec tant d'arrogance. »

Car ce n'est ni de l'orient, ni de l'occident, ni du désert, que vient l'élévation.
Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, ni del desierto viene el ensalzamiento.
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
Mais c'est Dieu qui juge. Il abaisse l'un, et il élève l'autre.

Car il y a dans la main du SEIGNEUR une coupe, pleine d'un vin mousseux, aromatisé. Il en verse, et tous les méchants de la terre le sucent et le boivent jusqu'à la lie.

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
For in the LORD’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
